Seven people suffered from blast injuries and acute stress following a Russian attack which struck a building in Kharkiv’s Saltyvka.

Head of the Regional State Administration Oleg Sinegubov stated that five women and two men were in a moderate condition, while an 85-year-old woman was admitted to hospital.

Information was provided stating that children may have been in one of the apartments that caught fire following the strike, but this hadn’t been confirmed by Sinegubov last night.

“According to information and the residents’ report, there might have been children in one of the apartments on the third and fourth floors,” Sinegubov said, noting that: “These apartments have now been inspected, but fortunately the information hasn’t been confirmed, however, we still need to inspect the premises, including those where the fire is still raging.”

Head of Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office Spartak Borisenko stated that Russia used a Geran-2 type drone to strike the building, releasing videos of the consequences of the strike.

Police press services clarified that a 57-year-old man and an 84-year-old woman were injured, while four women aged between 84 and 90, along with a 28-year-old man, suffered from acute stress reactions as a result of the strike.

Kharkiv City Council confirmed that damage was caused to eight buildings in the Saltivskyi district, noting that more than 180 windows and 54 balconies were broken, along with the roof of the building that was struck.

Rescuers finished tackling the blaze at 19:45, reported the State Emergency Services, noting that firefighters had rescued three people from the building during the operation.

Three children and two adults experienced an acute stress reaction as a result of a strike on Kamyana Yaruga in the Chuhuiv community, reported Mayor of Chuhuiv Galena Minaeva.

Russia struck with a drone, resulting in one private house being destroyed, while neighbouring houses suffered significant damage.

Kharkiv Police later clarified that a five-month-old baby suffered from a head injury, while a 10-year-old girl, a 20-year-old man, and women aged 22 and 74 suffered from acute stress reactions.

Four Russian drones were reported to have struck Yurchenko in the Prolisnenskyi community around lunchtime, reported the State Emergency Service.

All four drones struck in one location and caused a fire to break out that damaged some buildings, but no injuries were recorded.

Ukrzaliznytsia reported yesterday that several suburban trains would be stopped from February 4 to 9, due to the lack of electricity in the region, mainly affecting trains connecting Kharkiv, Izium and Lozova.

The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that an elderly woman sustained injuries following an attack by a drone on the village of Zarichne in the Chuhuiv district yesterday.

Satellite imagery was viewed by osint_alarm, which showed significant damage had been caused to the Zmiivska Thermal Power Plant in Kharkiv Oblast.

Damage included the 330kV and 110kV substations, along with 4 generator transformers, reported the Osinter.

Iskander-M ballistic missiles caused five visible craters, and the plant had obviously halted all power generation.
