Lindsey Graham and his conceited views on the Middle East in a television interview with Hadley Gamble

Republican Senator Lindsay Graham spoke to Hadley Gamble in the latest episode of On The Record, discussing Iran, the Gaza War, Russian sanctions, and shifting dynamics across the Middle East.

“Because what did we do in World War II? Did we think for one minute about starving the Germans? Did we bomb every city into smithereens? Yes, I am making that comparison – this is an absolute existential threat to the Jewish people,” Graham said.

Senator Graham continued: “What happened on October 7 was 1,200 people were slaughtered, raped and murdered and filmed by radical Islamists who would kill every Jew if they could, to the world.

“If you don’t understand that this is a threat to Israel – just flatten it, we flattened Berlin, we flattened Tokyo – were we wrong to drop an atomic bomb to end the Japanese reign of terror? Were We?”

Senator Graham added: “If I was Israel, I would have probably done it the same way – without military victory, there is no hope of breaking radicalism – we flattened Germany. We flattened Japan.”

“Those people are trying to say this is just another conflict,” continued Graham: “It’s not just another conflict, it’s an existential threat to the Jewish state, if Hamas survives all this, God help the Jewish people.

“They’re approaching Hamas after October 7th as we approached the Japanese after Pearl Harbor – and that’s the right approach.”

Speaking about Iran, Senator Graham said: “The military capability is being built up as I speak – the inflection point is weeks away, not months away – that’s why I’m here, that’s why I haven’t slept, because it’s either going to go really well or really badly.

“If Iran goes down, Lebanon comes our way, Hezbollah is next – if it sinks, then Hezbollah is weaker in Lebanon, there will be a moment in Syria.”

Graham added: People say they don’t want regime change – well, you’re crazy – if you want this regime to survive, then you need to do some soul-searching.”
