Russia carried out 786 strikes on Zaporizhzhia in the past 24 hours

Energy workers were attempting to restore electricity to subscribers left without power as a result of attacks earlier in the day.

Head of the Regional State Administration Ivan Fedorov reported that more than 43,000 of those who had been disconnected were already being supplied with electricity.

Fedorov offered sincere gratitude to the people who continued to work and bring brightness to the homes of Zaporizhzhia despite all the efforts from Russia to plunge them into darkness.

According to AMK Mapping, Zaporizhzhia City came under attacks from the Russians who used at least 4 Tornado-S rockets targeting the Armalit 150kV substation, resulting in most of Zaporizhzhia losing power, while multiple salvos of MLRS were reported to have hit the city too.

Fedorov reported this morning that a total of three people were injured during the Russian attacks on the Polohivskyi district, noting that Russia carried out 786 strikes on 30 populated areas of the region.

Three police officers, aged 35, 37 and 47, were injured following an attack on the village of Vozdizhivka with a Molniya-2 drone and FPV drones, reported the Zaporizhzhia Regional Police, noting that all the wounded were taken to a stabilisation point for necessary assistance.

Law enforcement officers documented numerous damages to residential buildings, cars and infrastructure objects, while investigative-operational groups, explosive experts and forensic specialists worked at the strike sites.

Russia carried out 1 missile strike, used 533 drones of various types, as well as 4 MLRS and 238 artillery strikes, which resulted in 68 reports of damage to housing, cars and infrastructure, reported Fedorov.

Fedorov reported this morning that the heat supply in the city had been fully restored, due to several boiler houses which had been disconnected during an hostile attack now operating on backup power.

Water and gas supply was also functioning normally, and the situation appeared to be under control, as services continued to work to connect those without a supply.
