Several infrastructure facilities and residential property damaged in Sumy

Last night an attack drone hit the courtyard of a multi-story building in the Zarichny district of Sumy, reported Acting Mayor Artem Kobzar.

As a result of the attack, more than 50 windows were damaged in a multi-story building, along with damage to eleven nearby cars, but there was no preliminary information about casualties.

Russia also attacked the railway infrastructure in the Okhtyrshchina and Shostka regions, according to Sumy Police, noting that there were also damages in the Konotop community.

During the strike on the rail infrastructure in Shostka, a female railway worker was struck while on duty at the station as the woman was on her way to work, but she was provided with all the necessary medical assistance at the scene.

According to the reports, Russia also hit the ‘Unbreakable Carriage,’ which was set up in the community to provide residents with heating, and people were sheltering here during the attack.

Head of the Shostka community Mykola Noga reported that two women aged 31 and 55 were injured overnight and receiving assistance at the city hospital.

In total, Russia destroyed several infrastructure facilities in the Voronezh district of Shostka, including 10 residential buildings with outbuildings, two cars and other vehicles.
