General Staff Update:
➡️ Ukraine’s General Staff noted that 221 combat engagements were recorded in the 24 hours leading up to the 1680th day of the full-scale war with Russia.
➡️ Russia launched one missile strike and 76 air strikes, using 276 guided aerial bombs, while also using 8835 kamikaze drones, and carrying out 2775 attacks on different areas of Ukraine including positions of Ukrainian troops, 37 of these involved the use of rocket artillery systems.
➡️ During the previous 24 hours, Ukrainian defences struck two Russian UAV control points, an area where Russian personnel had concentrated, a logistics facility, and a Russian command post.
➡️ Russia lost approximately 1,470 personnel, according to the report, while also suffering damage or loss of 21 artillery systems, two rocket artillery systems, one air defence system, nine ground robotic complexes, 1,393 unmanned aerial vehicles, three missiles, 332 units of automobiles, and five units of special equipment.
UAF Update:
➡️ Between 18:00 on September 30 and 08:00 on September 31, Russia launched 188 attack drones (of which 86 were jet-powered), along with an uncounted number of missiles, which some monitors reported as between 10 and 20 missiles in a very quick period of just 9 minutes overnight.
➡️ Air defences intercepted or suppressed 5 Iskander/Zircon missiles, along with 155 drones of various times, reporting that strikes were recorded at just 18 locations across the country overnight.
Cherkasy:
➡️ Three Russian drones were shot down over the region by the air defence forces, but a fire broke out at an infrastructure facility in the Cherkasy district as a result of an impact, but it was quickly extinguished and no casulaties were reported.
Chernihiv:
➡️ Russia struck the territory of an agricultural enterprise in the city of Borzna in the Chernihiv region, which led to the damage of a warehouse, according to Head of the Chernihiv OVA Vyacheslav Chaus, adding that the Russians used a Banderol drone which damaged the granary that stored rapeseed, destroying 200 tons of grain.
Dnipropetrovsk:
➡️ Seven drones were shot down by Ukrainian air defences last night over the Dnipropetrovsk region, according to the Head of the Regional Military Administration Olexandr Ganza.
➡️ Three districts were attacked by Russian forces overnight, which resulted in damage to infrastructure in the Zelendolska community of Kryvyi Rih, while a strike caused a fire after hitting in the Mykolaiv community of the Synelnykove district, and the Nikopol district came under attack from FPV drones, but fortunately there were no reported injuries or casualties from the affected areas.
➡️ Russian forces struck Dnipro at around 10:20am, causing a fire to break out on the territory of a private property, but preliminary reports indicated there were no fatalities or injuries, according to Ganza.
Donetsk:
➡️ Six people were injured in the Donetsk region due to Russian shelling in the past day, according to Head of the Regional Military Administration Filashkin, stating the injuries were sustained as a result of Russian shelling, injuring three residents in Bilbasivka, as well as one person each in Sloviansk, Shabelkivka and Druzhkivka.
➡️ Four people were injured following Russian strikes on Sloviansk and Bilbasivka yesterday, as rescuers extricated a family with a 13-year-old daughter from the rubble of a destroyed building, with the family lucky to escape with minor injuries.
➡️ Russia truck Sloviansk with a FAB-500 guided aerial bomb at around 5pm in the evening, which damaged or destroyed private houses and cars, while a 45-year-old man was injured and admitted to hospital, reported Head of the Regional State Administration Vadym Lyakh on Facebook.
➡️ According to the Donetsk Police, Russia dropped three KAB-250 bombs on Shabelkivka in the past 24 hours, destroying eight private houses, while an attack with drones in Kramatorsk damaged 10 apartment buildings, an educational institution, 10 commercial pavilions and two civilian vehicles, along with an apartment building in Druzhkivka.
Kharkiv:
➡️ Emergency services extinguished four fires that broke out due to Russian strikes in the previous 24 hours, according to the SES, stating that fires occurred in the Bohodukhiv, Lozova, and Kharkiv districts, with Russians targeting a civilian infrastructure facility, a private residence, and ecosystems.
➡️ An 8-year-old child suffered a severe stress reaction following a Russian drone striking a tree in a private yard of the Saltivska district of Kharkiv, according to the emergency services, noting that the blast wave damaged the roof and windows of a private residential building, as well as a nearby car, while the Shevchenkivskyi and Kyiv districts were also hit by Russian attacks during the day.
➡️ Damage was caused to a car and farm buildings in the village of Ogurtsevtsi in the Shevchenkivska community, according to Head of the Regional Military Administration Oleg Synehubov, adding that an 85-year-old woman suffered a severe stress reaction during the attacks.
➡️ Russia struck the territory of the Malodanilivska community, as well as part of the Derhachi community yesterday, leaving residents without electricity, according to the heads of the communities, Oleksandr Holobov and Viacheslav Zadorenko.
➡️ FPV drones struck Zolochiv, near Myronivka, and Malyi Fesky, damaging several vehicles throughout the day, reported head of the city military administration, while other drone strikes in Karasivka damaged houses and farm buildings.
➡️ Myronivka, Rozhanka, Novoselivka, Sukhyi Yar, and Oleksandrivka were also hit by Russian attacks yesterday, damaging houses and cars, reported the regional administration.
Kherson:
➡️ Russian forces shelled 18 areas of the Kherson region over the past 24 hours, injuring five people, while also damaging two private houses, according to the Head of the Regional Military Administration Olexandr Prokudin.
➡️ A Russian drone also targeted the Shipyard District of Kherson, causing shrapnel wounds and blast injuries to a 36-year-old man, according to the regional military administration.
Kyiv:
➡️ A 14-year-old boy was killed and pulled from the rubble during the overnight shelling in Vyshhorod, Kyiv Region, according to the SES, stating that three other people had been injured, while a private house was destroyed, along with 8 garages and a number of cars nearby, while another residential building and outbuilding were damaged by fires that broke out.
➡️ The boy’s bother and father are currently in hospital having also been pulled from under the rubble, while the boy’s sister was unharmed and is currently being looked after by relevant authorities and services.
➡️ Between September 29th and early hours of September 30th, fires and destruction occurred in four districts of the Ukrainian capital, with at least 10 properties damaged and one on fire in the Sviatoshynskyi district, a fire that was extinguished when a sauna, a utility building, and a concrete mixer caught fire in the Holosiivskyi district, along with a grassy area in the Solomianskyi district.
➡️ Russia caused a fire on the roof and building materials on the 6th floor of a non-residential building in the Podilskyi district, while a fire caused the destruction of a warehouse building after a separate attack, which firefighters quickly extinguished, and another fire broke out in a two-story private house at a different address.
➡️ During the attacks, at least two people were reported to have been killed, and another four people injured, as approximately 16 missiles struck Kyiv in 9 minutes, including Zircon hypersonic missiles and Iskander ballistic missiles.
➡️ Reports began to surface that Russia had targeted at least four energy facilities in Kyiv with the missiles as explosions were still being heard around the capital at 3:06am local time, and six drones were heading towards Kyiv from the north, east, and south.
➡️ Disruptions to the water supply was beginning to be reported by residents, as intel groups suggested at least 6 Kh-23 North Korean ballistic missiles were launched from Voronezh, 6 Oniks/Zirkon hypersonic cruise missiles launched from Kursk, and 8 Islander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles launched from Bryansk, targeting energy infrastructure in the areas of Ukrainka, Vyshhorod, and Kyiv.
➡️ Footage from residents following the missiles showed the drones appearing to strike traction power substations in order to cut the Kyiv power supply, and one video showed the moments the lights went out in the capital.
➡️ Three private houses, 11 cars, and two private houses and two warehouses were damaged, and a fire broke out in the Buchansky district, while the consequences of the attack on infrastructure facilities were also recorded in the Buchansky, Vyshhorodsky, and Obukhivsky districts.
➡️ Mayor Klitschko reported that debris had been found in the Shevchevkivskyi district in the city centre of Kyiv, on the territory of one of the Western embassies, which occurred at around 10am this morning.
➡️ A cargo truck caught fire and a warehouse building was hit in a strike on the Solomyanskyi district at around 10:20am, and an employee of Kyivteploenergo was killed.
Mykolaiv:
➡️ Russia targeted the region repeatedly with unmanned aerial vehicles, according to the DSNS, noting that a private residential building was destroyed in the village of Dmytrivka, located in the Kutsurubska territorial community of the Mykolaiv district, while two more residential buildings and four outbuildings were damaged, and rescuer’s recovered the body of a 56-year-old man from the rubble.
➡️ Units of the SES said a house had been damaged in the village of Yaselka due to a strike, while firefighters extinguished the fires that broke out as a result of the shelling at the incidents, noting that this included a fire in dry grass covering almost 2 hectares which was caused by a Russian strike.
Poltava:
➡️ A hostile drone reportedly crashed into the territory of a private house at approximately 10:30am local time, according to the OVA, who said all relevant services had been dispatched to the scene.
Rivne:
➡️ Russia targeted the Rivne region with drones from the air throughout the evening and into the morning, with air raid sirens sounding in all districts, according to Telegram reports by the Head of the Rivne Regional State Administration Oleksandr Koval, who said no residents were injured as a result of the attack, and didn’t report what had been damaged, which was likely railway lines and infrastructure.
Zaporizhzhia:
➡️ Throughout the past day the Russian forces launched 686 attacks on 51 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, which included 22 air strikes, 530 various types of drones, 5 attacks using MLRS, and 129 artillery strikes, resulting in 44 reports of damage to infrastructure, and vehicles, but no civilians were injured, reported Head of the Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov.
Zhytomyr:
➡️ Damage and fires were recorded at critical infrastructure facilities as a result of Russian attacks, as well as on the territory of private enterprises located in the Korostensky, Zhytomyr, and Zyvagel districts, while 4 passenger cars had also been set on fire in additional attacks.
