Two killed and three others injured during Russia’s attacks on Zaporizhzhia

Damage was caused to building windows and a nearby road in Zaporizhzhia following a Russian drone attack on the Khortitsky district.

According to Head of the Regional State Administration Ivan Fedorov, a drone damaged the road surface and partially broke windows of residential buildings, but there were no casualties.

Two people were injured as a result of an attack with guided aerial bombs on the Shevchenko district, destroying buildings, while the two injured were receiving all the necessary medical assistance.

Fedorov reported this morning that overnight attacks had damaged private houses, and left more than 12,000 subscribers without power, as Russia attacked the region, but crews were ready to begin restoring supply as soon as the situation allowed.

Energy workers announced this morning that all the consumers in the regional centre who were left without power as a result of the attack last night had now been restored, as Fedorov offered his sincere gratitude to the energy and utility workers.

Later, Fedorov reported that a 49-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman were killed when Russia struck Vilyansk with a drone, destroying a private house in the process.

Another attack resulted in an injury to a 14-year-old boy in the city, who was provided all the necessary medical assistance, as Russia attacked the regional centre with drones, damaging private sector buildings.

Fedorov reported this morning that a total of 2 people had been killed and five others injured in the past day, as Russia carried out 517 strikes on 32 populated areas.

Russia carried out 24 airstrikes, used 346 various types of drones, launched 5 attacks with MLRS and 142 artillery strikes, resulting in 85 reports of damage to housing, cars and infrastructure.
