Officials confirmed that the north of the region has been left without electricity as a result of Russian strikes, adding that energy workers were ready to restore the connections as soon as the security situation allowed, while asking residents to remain calm and follow safety rules.
There is also no power throughout the city of Slavutych in the Chernihiv region, and the restoration time is currently unknown, reported the city council, while Chernihivoblenergo confirmed earlier that 55,000 subscribers had been left without electricity in the Koriukivka district.
