Larijani interview regarding the US/Israel-Iranian war

Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani spoke in an interview to explain the situation in Iran, saying that: People did not respond to Trump’s demand, he threatened people.

“Trump does not understand that Iranians may have differences, but they are Iranians – they have experienced your interference in the region – Afghanistan and Iraq.

“When the enemy attacks us from regional bases, we respond and will continue to respond, [because] this is our right, we have no issue with Azerbaijan, but if any conspiracy of flight against Iran is carried out from this country, we will respond.

“It would be better for Trump to admit that he made a mistake and was deceived by Israel, admit that you have made a mistake.

“We told the Europeans that if you participate in the war, we will confront you, and if you intervene, we have no choice but to retaliate – they know that we have no interest in expanding the war.

“The enemy wanted to destroy the government, wanted to drag people into the streets in its favour, wanted to divide Iran, and none of these have happened, and it has become hysterical – when the enemy does not achieve its goals, it struggles and starts hitting empty places, schools, hospitals, and people.

“The volume of Iran’s missile strikes on the Zionists is very painful and distressing, and for this reason, they do not even allow the images of the impacts to be published.

“Mr Trump has martyred our leader, and we will not let it go – our people have been martyred, more than a thousand of our people have been martyred – we will not let it go until we retaliate.

“We did not close the strait of Hurmuz, the strait has naturally closed and no one can pass through it.

“Trump says I should comment on the future leadership of Iran – well, this is a stupid idea that only a backward person would come up with – this is a very foolish idea, this is America.

“They are lying by saying that 5-6 American soldiers have been killed – later, they increase the number of deaths under the pretext of accidents – I heard that in some countries, some of their soldiers have been captured, but I don’t know exactly.”
