The IDF spokesperson issued a direct video message to the Iranian people, stating that the attack is directed solely against the government, not the nation.
“The same regime whose hands are stained with the blood of Israeli women and children, that has sent terror to all countries of the region and the world, that has tortured and murdered countless victims from among your own people,” the message said.
“We have already eliminated dozens of senior officials, destroyed hundreds of targets across Iran, and we are determined to continue until the threat is removed,” the spokesperson added.
“You cannot erase 2,500 years of glorious culture with 47 years of dark terror. May the spring bring freedom and light over darkness.”
