Two people were injured in a drone attack on the city of Hlukhiv in the Sumy region, resulting in a man aged 53 and a woman aged 87 being admitted to hospital, reported the Shostka District Military Administration, noting that an FPV drone attacked a four-story apartment building causing a fire to break out.
During the extinguishing operation that took place in a multi-apartment one-story building in the Hlukhiv community, rescuers had to pause work due to the threat of another attack.
Another drone attack that was reported by the Prosecutor’s Office which targeted a husband and wife who were trying to evacuate from the Russian forces.
As the couple exited the village of Graovskoe, the first drone caught up with the couple, resulting in the 52-year-old woman being killed, and a second strike was carried out on a 54-year-old man nearby, while a recon drone hovered nearby recording the footage.
According to the morning report from the General Staff, Russia carried out almost 80 strikes on 29 populated areas in 14 territorial communities of the region, causing damage or destruction to buildings and infrastructure in at least five communities.
