⚡️ The IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir said at an operational forum on Monday that achievements Israel had made were those of the commanders and troops on land, at sea, and in the air, and the personnel in intelligence, communications, logistics and administration, who together ‘led the IDF to significant achievements and changed the security reality.’
🔹 “Diplomatic negotiations are currently underway across all of the main fronts – all of these are the result of the IDF’s historic achievements,” Zamir claimed, stating Israel must fully capitalise on and maximise the achievements of the operations: “We are well prepared in defence, while maintaining immediate readiness and preparedness to return to high-intensity combat,” he added.
🔹 According to the statement, a multi-front operational and intelligence assessment was conducted on Monday, alongside a commanders’ discussion regarding the continuation of operations, noting that commanders presented case studies, alongside reviews of developments in the fighting and lessons learned from operational activity across all arenas.
🔹 During the Forum, Zamir hosted Commander of US Central Command, Admiral Brad Cooper, who reviewed the deep and strategic partnership between the IDF and the US military, ‘which has proven itself time and again throughout operations.’
🔹 In his remarks, Admiral Cooper emphasised that the partnership between the militaries was historic and founded on trust, commitment, and strong, close cooperation, and that is a significant component in strengthening security and stability in the region.
🔹 Zamir thanked Admiral Cooper fro the close cooperation and presented him with a token of appreciation in recognition of the deep partnership between the militaries, while stating that cooperation with the US military is unprecedented and served as a major strategic anchor.
🔹 “We are in a significant period and at a strategic crossroads,” Zamir said, stating that the IDF is a fighting military engaged in a major, prolonged, multi-front operation: “Our mission is to shape the reality rather than be driven by it, through tactical and operational initiative,” the statement added.
🔹 The IDF are implementing a systematic, methodical, and structured operational plan for victory, the statement continued, stating that since the October 7th massacre, the IDF has proven itself to be a victorious military with a spirit of strength – an operational and proactive military.
🔹 Zamir said the IDF remained in an interim period across all units, but will keep ranks united and cohesive in the face of all threats before them: “This is a critical period for the security of the State of Israel, and we will act accordingly,” he warned.
🔹 Alongside the desire to allow troops time to recuperate, Israel must not lose vigilance, concluded the statement, adding that forces are required to maintain a high level of readiness, be prepared for a rapid return to high-intensity combat, respond rapidly to any development, and continue to defend citizens.
