A major fire broke out at the Tikhoretsk-Nafta oil depot in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai following a series of explosions.
Authorities said the blaze was triggered by falling drone debris, though the circumstances of the incident remain under investigation. The fire has spread across an area of about 150 square meters, with 83 emergency personnel and 26 pieces of firefighting equipment deployed to contain the flames.
The facility is one of the largest oil transshipment hubs in southern Russia and operates within the structure of Chernomortransneft, serving as a key terminal for receiving, storing, and transporting crude oil to other destinations.
