Falling FAB aerial guided bombs over Russian regions is becoming more and more common, as yet another fell in Belgorod city near an apartment block.
Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov stated that an emergency situation had occurred following the discovery of a crater from a munition in Gubkin Street.

City Mayor Valentin Demidov reported that explosive experts from the Ministry of Defence were currently inspecting the area, so police and traffic police had cordoned off the a safety zone in the local area.
Residents from nearby houses were also being evacuated to safe locations.
Although the authorities didn’t mention the type of ammunition, local groups including Pepel stated that the fallen munition was an aerial bomb.

This is the second instance of an aerial bomb, following a FAB-500 falling near the village of Batrackaya Dacha in the Sebekino district, while Astra reported that 143 aerial bombs fell on its own and occupied territories in 2025, and 165 FAB bombs in 2024.
