Mayor of Belgorod V V Demidov reported that a section of Gubkin Street near number 20, where the aerial bomb fell last night, had been blocked off, as the specialists from the Ministry of Defence continued to work at the site.
More than 1700 residents had been evacuated from nearby apartment buildings, drivers were asked to find alternate routes of travel, while around ten public transport routes had been temporarily altered through different diversions.
