EARLY MORNING ATTACK ON KYIV KILLS ONE, INJURES 10

At around 3:55 this morning the alerts started to ring around the Ukrainian capital for possible uses of ballistic missiles, and within three minutes of the alert there were explosions ringing out around the areas of the Kyiv power plants again.

Real-time reports issued by Mayor Vitaly Klitschko throughout the morning first indicated medics being called to the Dniprovskiy and Desnayanskiy districts around 4:10am, while fires were reported to have broken out in non-residential buildings and cars shortly after.

More medics calls were placed to the Darnystskyi district as damage reports came in regarding residential buildings, and the the injury reports began to circulate, initially with four injured, rising to six, eight, and eventually as of 9:00 this morning the casualty toll was one dead and ten injured.

Novosti released footage this morning of the kindergarten that was affected by falling debris, along with a nearby residential building, and videos surfaced of warehouses burning in the Troishchyna area near the CHP-6 power station, and other images showed scenes of an apocalypse as the capital was about to enter the final weekend of October.
