Russia Regional Recap and Damage Report up to November 1st:

Russia’s Ministry of Defence reported shooting down 235 Ukrainian drones overnight, over the regions of Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Oryol, Penza, Rostov, Ryazan, Saratov, Smolensk, Tambov, Tver, Tula, and Moscow.

The Russian Armed Forces claimed to have continued striking at Ukraine’s logistical infrastructure facilities used in the interests of the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the night, as well as naval vessels allegedly involved in the transportation of military cargo.

According to the statement from the MoD, control centres for trail traffic at the Konotop railway station in the Sumy region were struck, which ensured the delivery of weapons and military equipment to the UJkrainian Armed Forces from western regions of Ukraine.

Forces also struck a ‘dry cargo’ type naval vessel, reportedly transporting cargo intended for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which was struck during a sea crossing around 69km southwest of Odesa.

According to military expert Marchenko, the Ukrainian Armed Forces command has intensified pressure near Yurkovka in the Zaporizhzhia region, hoping to maintain control over the logistical routes that pass through the area towards Orikhiv.

Belgorod: One man was seriously injured by a drone strike which burned a truck down in the village of Nizhnyaya Serebryanka in the Rovensky District, and a man was injured by shrapnel in hi arm in the village of Dunajka in the Graivoron District.

Damage was caused to a warehouse in the village of Pjanitskoe in the Volokonovsky District, while the debris from a downed drone damaged a car in the village of Iskra in the Korochansky District, and two cars were damaged by drone strikes in the village of Krasnaya Yaruga in the Krasnyaruzhsky District.

Crimea: Restrictions on electricity supplies were still in effect in the peninsula following the Ukrainian strikes that resulted in catastrophic damage to the energy infrastructure, reported Crimeaenergo, and two-hour power outages were reported in Sevastopol, however, technical problems in the power grids were preventing the company keeping to timetables.

Kursk: Drones attacked four populated areas of the region overnight, destroying a house in the village of Nikipelovka in the Korenevsky District, along with damage to two cars in the village of Kekino in the Glushkovsky District, and the facade of a house was damaged in the city of Shchyogry.

Moscow: Multiple Ukrainian drones were reported to have been shot down on route to the capital of Russia, reported Mayor Sobayanin, around the same time as Astra reported smoke seen near a storage facility known as TZK Sheremetyevo, located alongside Moscow Sheremetyevo airport.

Niznhy Novgorod: Governor Gleb Nikitin reported significant damage to an ‘industrial facility’ in the region, stating that an unnamed object sustained ‘significant damage’ in the Kstovo District as a result of a drone strike.

Footage from the scene appeared to show a fire at the ‘LUKOIL-Nizhnefteorgsintez’ refinery, which has a capacity of approximately 17 million tons of oil per year, or around 340,000 barrels per day.

The plant produces gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, and other petroleum products, including those necessary for military equipment, as some monitors reported that more than 100 drones targeted the refinery overnight.

Rostov: More than 20 drones were destroyed in the region, and the only report of damage was from the debris of a downed drone that struck the roof of a private house.
