General Staff Report:
➡️ Ukraine’s General Staff updated day 1681 of Russia’s war on the country, noting that 209 combat clashes were recorded in the past 24 hours.
➡️ According to the report, Russia launched 22 missiles and 78 airstrikes, including 277 guided aerial bombs, while also using 7650 kamikaze drones and carrying out 2656 artillery strikes against various areas and Ukrainian military position.
➡️ Ukraine’s defence forces reportedly struck an area of concentration of Russian personnel, along with two Russian command posts, during the previous day.
➡️ In total, Russia reportedly lost around 1,900 people, while damage or destruction happened to a combat vehicle, 36 artillery systems, 3 MLRS systems, one air defence system, five missiles, 14 ground-based robotic complexes, 1,288 unmanned aerial vehicles, 524 units of automobiles, and four units of specialised Russian equipment.
UAF Staff Report:
➡️ During the night from 6pm on September 30th to 8am on October 1st, Russia had launched 107 drones of various types, including 63 jet-powered drones, from Orel, Millerovo, Bryansk, Shatalovo, Donetsk, and Crimea.
➡️ According to preliminary information from the UAF, defences suppressed or neutralised 87 drones of various types, but hits were recorded at 11 locations, and debris fell at another 4 locations.
Dnipropetrovsk:
➡️ A 44-year-old rescuer died while attending an incident in the Nikopol district, as the Marganets, Pokrovska, and Chervonohryhorivska communities came under attack from shelling and FPV drones.
Kharkiv:
➡️ Russia struck the Izyum district this morning, injuring a 45-year-old man, while damaging more than 20 residential buildings, cars, and a non-operational building, according to the Izyum City Military administration, noting that attack occurred around 5:15am using a guided aerial bomb on the Naftovyk district.
➡️ A 68-year-old man was injured in Tsyrykany, according to the Head of the Regional Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov, noting a private house, three farm buildings, and a private car were also damaged during the attack.
➡️ Injuries occurred to a 45-year-old man and a 52-year-old man on the road near Masliyiv in the Derhachi community, while the car they were travelling in was also damaged, reported the Regional Military Administration.
➡️ A man suffered a leg injury following a Russian strike on a shopping centre in the Kyslytskiy district of Kharkiv, according to Viktor Zabashtha, the Director of the Centre for Emergency Medical Assistance, noting that a Russian drone also hit an apartment building in the same district.
➡️ Russia attacked a vehicle injuring a 65-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman on the Derhachi-Kazacha Lopan Road, according to the Head of the Derhachi Military Administration Vyacheslav Zadorozhnyi, who said a 61-year-old woman in Derhachi experiences a severe stress reaction due to the strike.
➡️ A 29-year-old woman was injured when travelling in a civilian car in Zolochiv on the evening of September 30, reported Head of the Zolochiv Military Administration Viktor Kovalenko, noting that a warehouse and a car were damaged in the settlement as a result of the attack.
➡️ Russia’s air strike on Slatyne yesterday morning resulted in 1,500 residents of Slatyne and Bezruki without electricity, according to Derhachi Head Zadorozhnyi, who said at least six private houses were also damaged in the attack.
➡️ The Kupiansk district settlements of Velykyi Burluk, Zamist, Pidsershne, and Shevchenkove were under attack in the past 24 hours, according to the Head of the District Military Administration Andriy Kanashevych.
➡️ Damage was caused to private houses and apartment buildings, as well as a store, while the regional military administration also reported damage of a private house in the settlement of Ploske.
➡️ Head of the Balakliia Military Administration Vitaliy Karabanov reported a strike on the morning of September 30th in the Volokhovoyarsk village council district, but didn’t mention any damage, injuries or casualties.
➡️ Power grids were damaged as a result of a Russian attack in the Pydviskoe settlement of the Izyum district, according to the regional military administration.
➡️ Two warehouse buildings containing seeds were damaged in a Russian attack in Verkhnya Samara in the Lozivskyi district, according to Sinegubov.
Kherson:
➡️ One person was killed and four other people were injured as Russia targeted 22 settlements of Kherson yesterday, including Kherson City, damaging infrastructure and residential areas, as well as two private houses and an outbuilding.
Kyiv:
➡️ One person was injured as a result of an attack on the Solomyanskyi district overnight which also damaged a room on the first floor of a 16-story building, causing a fire to break out, while several parked cars on the street below had also been engulfed in flames.
➡️ A large fire also broke out in a warehouse building in the Obolonskyi district which was extinguished by the emergency services, and an injured person had been taken to hospital.
➡️ On the morning of October 1, Russia struck a school in the Solomyanskyi district of Kyiv, causing fires to break out, and the children were luckily in a shelter during the attack, as no one appears to be reported injured so far.
Odesa:
➡️ Russia struck a business centre, injuring one person, while damage was caused to the roof and facade of two buildings in the business centre as a result of the strike, while the blast wave shattered windows and partially destroyed walls on the 5th floor, causing a fire to break out, and one person who was injured during the attack had been attended to at the scene.
Rivne:
➡️ An attack on the northern part of the Rivne region damaged civilian infrastructure yesterday, reported Head of the Rivne Regional State Administration Oleksandr Koval, noting no one was injured during this attack.
➡️ One woman was injured and admitted to hospital following the night time attack, Koval reported, noting the woman suffered injuries to her shoulders and face, while her house was also damaged in the strike.
Sumy:
➡️ Two people were injured during a night time Russian attack on Sumy using a guided aerial bomb (KAB), according to local authorities, who reported the impact in the residential area of the Kovpaky district, and said two women, aged 60 and 41, were admitted to hospital, while damage was caused to six residential buildings.
➡️ A shopping centre was struck in the Romensk district of Sumy overnight, causing a large fire to break out, and specialists from the SES were working at the scene of the attack, using robotic equipment to extinguish the fire, but had to repeatedly suspend operations and move to safe locations due to the repeated threat of attacks, however, all sources of the fire were extinguished this morning and no casualties were reported.
Zaporizhzhia:
➡️ Head of the Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov said that three people were injured during the 771 Russian attacks on 41 areas of the region, which included 22 airstrikes, 562 various types of drones, 3 attacks with MLRS and 186 artillery strikes, resulting in 54 reports of damage to infrastructure facilities, residential buildings, and vehicles.
