Ukraine lost a MiG-29 fighter jet pilot in one of the areas of the frontline yesterday, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, killing the commander of a flight in the 40th Tactical Aviation Brigade, ‘The Ghost of Kyiv.”
The aircraft was reportedly shot down by a Russian missile, and while the pilot, Captain Mambetov Marat Redvanovich was able to eject, he did not survive.
Morning Statement from Zelensky:
➡️ President Volodymyr Zelensky claimed Russia had launched more than 100 drones at Ukraine, with almost 50 being jet-powered, claiming most of them were neutralised by soldiers, but some did hit targets.
➡️ Zelensky said that the Southern Bridge was hit several times by Shahed drones, while in the morning, an attack on a residential building killed one person.
➡️ Russia targeted a kindergarten in Kherson and a grocery store in Kharkiv, as well as damaging an institute and critical infrastructure, while strikes were also recorded on apartment buildings in Kramatorsk and Sumy,.
➡️ Shelling also occurred in the Dnipro Region, Kyiv Region, Poltava Region, and Rivne Region, reported Zelensky, saying that as of the time of his report, four people had been injured as a result of the overnight attacks.
General Staff Operational Update:
➡️ Ukraine’s operational update on day 1682 of the war imposed by Russia said that 207 combat clashes were recorded in the previous 24 hours.
➡️ Russia launched 95 airstrikes, dropping 284 guided aerial bombs, along with 8891 kamikaze attack drones, to target at least 2705 attacks on areas of Ukraine and military positions, 41 of which were identified as MLRS launches.
➡️ During the past day, Ukrainian forces struck three UAV control points, five areas of concentration of Russian troops, and one other important Russian target.
➡️ Russia lost roughly 1520 personnel in the past day, while damage or destruction was caused to seven combat armoured vehicles, 37 artillery systems, one MLRS, seven ground-based robotic complex, 1470 unmanned aerial vehicles, 422 units of trucks, and six units of special equipment.
➡️ During the night, Russia launched 108 attack drones, 47 of which were jet-powered, of which 88 were suppressed or shot down by Ukrainian air defences, while 11 hit various Ukrainian locations, and debris from downed drones fell in five other locations.
Dnipropetrovsk:
➡️ Four people were injured as Russia targeted four districts of the region more than 30 times, including Pavlohrad, where the four people were injured, and damage was caused to an administrative building after fires had broken out, while a fire also occurred in Dnipro.
➡️ Damage was caused to private homes, nearby cars, a hotel, and a business, in the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts during yesterdays strikes, as rescuers worked to eliminate the consequences of the strikes.
➡️ Head of the Dnipropetrovsk State Administration Mykola Lukashuk clarified that one man was injured in the Pokrovska community, as Russia attacked the Nikopol, Marganets, Chervonohryhorivska and Pokrovska rural communities with FPV drones, causing a fire to break out, while also damaging two apartment buildings, a store, infrastructure, and a service station.
➡️ Damage was caused to buildings of a gas station and a store due to attacks with FPV drones in the Zelendolska community of the Kryvyi Rih district, while unmanned aerial vehicles also attacked the Petropavlivska community in the Synelnykove district.
➡️ Two fuel stations suffered severe damage due to FPV drone strikes in the region yesterday, but fortunately no employees or civilians were injured.
Donetsk:
➡️ A 26-year-old man died as a result of an attack yesterday morning on Sloviansk with rocket artillery, reported Vadim Lyakh, Head of the City Military Administration, who added that a man aged 66 was injured during the strike.
➡️ The State Emergency Services said that 34 private houses were damaged following the attack with a multiple launch rocket system, stating that fires broke out in four locations at the site of the attack.
➡️ Firefighters extinguished blazes in two private houses, a garage, and destroyed structures of agricultural buildings, working under the constant threat of renewed shelling.
➡️ Head of the Regional Military Administration, Filashkin, reported that one person had died as a result of a Russian attack in Sloviansk, while injuries occurred to four people in Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, and Bilenke.
➡️ Russia targeted a passenger bus in Kramatorsk this morning with an FPV drone, injuring two people, reported Head of the City Military Administration Goncharenko, who said the bus was already on its route and carrying passengers at the time of the attack.
➡️ The local police suggested 37 private houses were damaged within the past 24 hours, along with a hospital, an infrastructure facility, and four ambulances.
Kharkiv:
➡️ A drone struck two men riding a motorcycle through the village of Pisky-Radkivskyi, and one of the injured men died at hospital, who was an internally displaced person from the Donetsk region, according to the Borivska settlement council, noting the other man was a local resident and had been hospitalised.
➡️ Head of the Regional State Administration Oleg Sinegubov said that an attack near Polyove in the Solonystska community injured a 15-year-old boy and a 45-year-old man, while also damaging a car and trailer.
➡️ The 15-year-old boy is diagnosed to be in a moderate condition due to blast injuries, according to Anna Hontar, a spokesperson for the regional military administration, who said that a 45-yeaR-old man is receiving treatment on an outpatient basis.
➡️ Russia targeted Izium overnight, damaging a private house, according to the city council, while the regional military administration reported that a 63-year-old man was injured.
➡️ Damage was caused to the facade of a store, an administrative building, and nearby cars, but no one was injured during the Russian drone strikes on the Kyiv and Osnovyansky districts.

Kherson:
➡️ Rescuers dealt with the aftermath of a Russian attack on one of the city’s districts, causing a car to catch on fire following an explosive dropped from a device detonating, and firefighters put out the blaze despite risks of further attacks.
➡️ A 50-year-old man sustained a concussion during the Russian shelling of the Koryabel district of Kherson in the evening, reported the city administration.
➡️ Seven people were injured as 29 settlements of Kherson along with Kherson City came under Russian strikes in the past 24 hours, according to Head of the Regional State Administration Olexandr Produkin.
➡️ Damage was caused to 6 multi-story buildings and 12 private houses, as well as gas pipelines, an agricultural building, and a private car, Produkin reported.
Kyiv:
➡️ Russia targeted a school in the Solomyanskyi district yesterday morning, as students and teachers had evacuated to the shelters due to the air raid warnings, managing to escape any injuries or casualties, however damage was caused to the building, while a 50kg unexploded warhead was found in a staircase in the afternoon during the debris clean-up operation.
➡️ Two Shahed-type Geran 5 drones struck the Southern Bridge (also known as the Pivdennyi Bridge), in Kyiv, used by train and vehicle passengers to cross the Dnieper River to the capital on a daily basis, while another hit again last night, causing structural damage and surface damage to the roadways, resulting in an overnight closure for passengers.
➡️ Ground and metro traffic was temporarily suspended yesterday morning following the initial strikes, after surveyors and investigators found no critical damage, but the third strike in the evening was too much for the bridges’ infrastructure, resulting in the closure due to structural issues.
➡️ Mayor Klitschko said this morning that traffic was completely closed on the Southern Bridge in both directions, while traffic was partially restricted from the left bank to the right bank to one lane on the Metro Bridge.
➡️ Klitschko said that traffic has also been completely restricted to vehicles from the right bank to the left bank of the capital on the Paton Bridge.
➡️ The Parkovy data centre in Kyiv sustained significant critical damage as a result of Russian attacks and reportedly ceased operations.

➡️ Kyiv’s local media outlets stated Russia was trying to cut the capital from the national energy supply, noting that a Geran-5 drone struck a 750kv substation called Kyivska, which connects the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant to Kyiv, and the substation also coordinates the operation of nuclear power plants, thermal power plants, and imports from the EU.
➡️ One person was killed and at least two were injured overnight when a multi-story apartment building was struck in the Darnitskyi district, as fires broke out on the 24th and 25th floors were extinguished by rescuers.

➡️ The Russian army attacked the region with Shahed type drones, reported the Mykolaiv OVA this morning, stating that energy and port infrastructure in the region had come under attack, but there were no deaths or injuries.
Rivne:
➡️ A production facility of a civilian enterprise sustained damage during a Russian strike yesterday, although no one was injured in the attack, according to the Head of the Rivne Regional State Administration Oleksandr Koval.
Sumy:
➡️ More than 40 shelling incidents targeted 14 settlements in 9 communities of the Sumy region in the past 24 hours, according to the regional administration, who said that drone strikes injured a man in Sumy and another in the Bezdrytska community.
➡️ Damage was caused to apartment buildings, non-residential buildings, cars, and a truck in the Sumy community, as well as a non-residential building in the Bezdrytska community, while an apartment building, non-residential buildings, and a car were damaged in the Hlukhiv community, and residential buildings were destroyed and damaged in the Esman community.
