Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov was speaking today to the Russian State Duma, addressing first the issue of Indian purchases of oil.
“No one other than Trump has claimed that India plans to stop buying Russian oil,” Lavrov said, adding that there were no grounds to believe that the Russian-Indian agreements are in jeopardy.
Lavrov also addressed the rights of self-determination of countries, noting that: “The right of the people of Greenland to self-determination is recognised, while the same rights of the peoples of Crimea, Donbas, and ‘Novorossiya’ continue to be denied – Russia does not agree with such double standards.”
