General Staff Report:
202 combat engagements were recorded in the 24 hours leading up to day 1687 of the imposed war by Russia, according to the General Staff of Ukraine.
The report said that Russia launched 85 airstrikes, dropping 287 aerial bombs, while also using 9,728 kamikaze drones, and carrying out 2,521 artillery strikes on populated areas of Ukraine as well as military positions.
Ukrainian defence forces claimed this morning to have struck an area of concentrated Russian troops, as well as a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle control point.
Russia lost approximately 1,690 personnel, as well as damage or destruction to four combat armoured vehicles, 51 artillery systems, eight multiple launch rocket systems, two air defence assets, 12 ground robotic complexes, 1,890 unmanned aerial vehicles, two heavy flamethrower systems, 577 automobiles, and five units of special equipment of the Russian Armed Forces.
UAF Report:
The report from the Ukrainian defence forces said that Russia launched 130 attack drones (of which 46 were jet powered) overnight, as well as 48 cruise missiles, (including X-101 and Kalibr), as well as Onyx or Zircon missiles from the Rostov region and Iskander-M/S-400/KN-23 missiles from the regions of Bryansk and Voronezh.
Preliminary data said that the air defences reportedly intercepted or destroyed 5 ballistic missiles, 39 cruise missiles, and 117 drones, of which 38 were jet powered.
Hits were recorded at 18 locations in Ukraine, while debris from downed drones reportedly struck another five locations, between the hours of 6pm last night and 9am this morning.
Chernihiv Region:
A five-story building was destroyed by an X-101 missile overnight, and people were potentially trapped under the rubble, as rescuers continued to clear the scene and search for possible survivors following the early morning Russian missile attack.
Initial reports suggested at least 20 people had been injured and five other people had died as a result of the attack, while a fire broke out at a production facility in another location of Pryluky following the strikes.
Dnipropetrovsk:
Two people were injured as a result of overnight attacks by Russia in the Nikopol district, including a 65-year-old woman who was hospitalised in a moderate condition, and a 64-year-old man who is being treated at home, while damage was caused to a house and several nearby cars.
Russia also targeted the Synelnykove district yesterday, targeting the Mykolaiv community in an attack, but there were no reports of damage or casualties from the head of the Regional State Administration Mykola Lukaschuk.
Donetsk:
Twelve people were injured in the Donetsk region due to Russian strikes in the past 24 hours, according to head of the Regional Military Administration Vadym Filashkin, who said the there were four injured residents in Bilenke, three people in Adamkivka, two each in Kramatorsk and Vesiila Hora, and one person in Zolotyi Prud.
Damage was caused to private houses in remote areas of Sloviansk as a result of yesterday’s attacks, According to Vadym Liakh, head of the City Military Administration, stating that there were no casualties or injuries from the shelling in the community during the previous 24 hours.
Kharkiv:
Russian forces targeted the Lozova and Pechenyzhsky communities overnight, according to the State Emergency Services, noting that structural elements of a production building were on fire in Lozova, while a two-story private house was on fire in the Pechenyzhsky community.
A fire broke out on the premises of an agricultural enterprise yesterday in the village of Gavrilivka in the Barvinkiv community, causing a fire to break out and damaging structural elements of a warehouse building, but three buildings containing 1,000 tons of wheat were saved, the SES said.
Grass was on fire as a result of an attack in Hrushyne in the Zlatopil community, injuring one person, reported the SES, later clarified to be 52-year-old, according to Head of the Regional Military Administration Oleg Syniehubov.
Yesterday morning Russia injured a 64-year-old man with an FPV drone strike in the village of Ploske in the Velikoburlutska community, according to head of the Kupiansk regional military administration Andriy Kanashevych, who said that a private car was also damaged.
As a result of a drone attack in one of the settlements of the Malodanilivska community, one residential building was destroyed, while a neighbouring building, outbuildings and fences sustained damage, according to the head of the community Oleksandr Hololobov.
Yesterday morning the Russian army struck Zmiliv with drones, hitting the territory of a civilian business in the city, but no one was injured, despite there being damage to apartment buildings, reported the city council.
Houses, cars, shops, a railway, power lines, and a warehouse were also damaged when the communities of Vlasivka, Alisivka, Horlane and Zolochiv came under attack during the past day.
An employee of a farm found an unidentified explosive device while working in a field in the village of Pidsiridne in the Velikoburlutska community, which detonated, killing the 40-year-old man at the scene, reported the State Emergency Services.
Russia struck Izyum this morning just before 6am, with impacts recorded near the area of Mount Kremianets, on the road and in open areas, according to the local military administration, who reported damage to the power grid and to buildings previously damaged by shelling, while fires also broke out.
Around 8:25am, three Russian KAB guided aerial bombs struck near Kalynove in the Zolochiv community, according to Viktor Kovalenko, who said there were no reports of casualties or damage.
However, Kovalenko did state that during the past 24 hours, two FPV drones were recorded in Zolochiv, resulting in damage to buildings, outbuildings, and vehicles.
The city head said that 1,063 residents were left without electricity this morning following the attack on Izyum, noting that power engineers were already working to reconnect the supplies.
Yesterday, the Russian forces struck the village of Gavrilivka in the Barvinkiv community with Banderol rockets, reported the Izyum Regional Military Administration on Wednesday morning, saying that damage was caused to agricultural facilities, two shops, an administrative building, and railway infrastructure.
Parts of the Lozova community were left without power this morning following overnight attacks on Kharkiv’s critical infrastructure, reported Mayor Serhiy Zelensky, who said that Russia deliberately targeted the infrastructure facilities, while also damaging educational and medical institutions, while windows were broken in two five-story buildings.
Kherson Region:
A Russian drone struck Pravdino in the Kherson region, injuring three people including a child, who all sustained concussions, blast injuries, and closed head injuries, according to the regional military administration.
During the previous 24 hours until 6am this morning, Russia targeted 38 different settlements of the region, as well as Kherson city, with guided aerial bombs, drones and artillery fire, killing one person and injuring eleven people, including a child, reported Head of the RMA Olexandr Produkin.
Damage was caused to three private houses, an administrative building, an outbuilding, a scooter, and private vehicles during the Russian attacks.
Kirovohrad Region:
Houses were damaged following a missile attack this morning, reported the regional military administration, noting that residential buildings in the Pryutivska community in the Oleksandriyskyi district were damaged, killing one person and injuring 3 others, while two people were unreachable.
Kyiv Region:
Two people were killed in the Darnitskyi district following confirmed Russian strikes that were also confirmed in the Obolonsky and Podilsky districts of the capital, which damaged warehouse facilities, while destroying a warehouse belonging to the ‘Dnipro-M’ network.
A fire broke out in the territory of a garage cooperative in the capital, where the bodies of two people were found during the firefighting operation, reported the State Emergency Services, adding that two other people were rescued from the scene.
Fires also reportedly broke out in the Darnitskyi district due to burning debris in an open area, while an impact was recorded on the territory of non-residential buildings in the Shevchenkivskyi district.
During the clean up operation of the debris, an unexploded ballistic missile was discovered among the residential buildings in the Darnitsky district of Kyiv.
Kyiv Police said that bomb disposal experts and State Emergency Service units were working at the scene, who will remove the warhead of the missile and transport it to a training ground for disposal.
One Russian strike hit a bird rehabilitation centre in Kyiv, completely destroying the bird hospital, chicken coop an quail house, and unfortunately, birds and a cat perished in the fire.
State Emergency Services reported this morning that three production and storage facilities were damaged as a result of fires breaking out in the Obukhiv district following the missile attacks, noting that the fires are currently being contained, no one was injured, but damage was also caused to a truck and trailer.
Mykolaiv Region:
Two people were injured in the village of Dmytrivka following a drone attacks yesterday, including a 29-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman: “The man is hospitalised, and the woman is receiving outpatient treatment – as of this morning, the man’s condition is stable – a car was damaged,” reported the admnistration.
Damage was also caused to a recreational complex in the Chornomorske settlement, while a private house was damaged in the settlement of Lyman.
Poltava region:
A Russian missile strike on Kremenchuk in the Poltava region resulted in two people being killed, including a 72-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man, while at least seven others were injured, according to city mayor Maletskyi.
Damage was caused to at multiple private residences, including the complete destruction of at least four houses, as rescuers, policy officers and medical personnel continued to work at the scene.
Multiple intel agencies reported this morning that multiple missiles targeted Kremenchuk and Svitlovodsk, where the local hydroelectric power plant was located, and while some missiles impacted in this area, others flew on to strike the area around Oleksandria in the Kirovohrad region.
Up to 6,000 residents were without electricity, and almost 5,000 more in two districts were without water this morning, as utility workers attempted to restore services, while there were also multiple debris fragments throughout the city which were being cleared by bomb disposal experts.
Damage was recorded in the village of Horby in the Hradizka community, including buildings of a school and kindergarten, a cultural centre, the local administration office, a private bakery, and several nearby residential buildings.
“It is likely that a drone exploded during interception,” said Myroslav Nos, head of the Hradizka community: “In most of the buildings, windows were shattered due to the blast wave – we are still clarifying the number of private homes that sustained damage.”
Sumy Region:
One person was killed and two others in injured following a Russian strike in the evening, as people near a shopping centre in the Kovpaky district came under attack.
According to the National Police, two people were killed as a result of the Russian attacks in the past 214 hours, including a 40-year-old man who was killed during a drone strike in the Sumy community, which left a 43-year-old woman injured.
A 16-year-old boy, a 27-year-old woman, and a 45-year-old woman were injured when a drone hit an apartment building, as well as two girls, aged 7 and 14, while another 57-year-old woman was injured when a drone fell in a residential courtyard.
Russia struck the Sveska community with a drone strike, killing a 51-year-old man, while another drone strike in the Seredyno-Budska community injured a 41-year-old man when a drone struck a house.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried at almost 50 shelling attacks on 24 areas of Sumy, which damaged residential buildings, an educational institution, a shopping centre, and vehicles, according to the regional military administration.
Zaporizhzhia:
Transportation facility infrastructure was targeted in the region overnight following on from the strikes on the bridges in the region the previous night, which was reportedly likely to lead to traffic restrictions in the region.
One person was killed and six others injured in the past 24 hours, as Russia launched 982 attacks on 52 settlements in the region, including 1 missile, 810 drones, 22 air strikes, and 149 artillery strikes, resulting in 78 reports of damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure.
