SUMY MORNING REPORT – Oct 21

No casualties were recorded among civilians, reported the Sumy OVA, noting that Russia carried out 38 strikes across 18 settlements in 8 territorial communities in the region, in what was one of the busiest days for some time, with Sumy and Shostka districts still suffered the most attacks.

Russia carried out more than 20 KAB strikes and 4 missile strikes, although some reports suggested up to 5 S-300 surface-to-air missiles were used on the Bilopillia community, which damaged civil infrastructure objects in communities like the Mykolaiv rural community.

Due to the security situations in the region, there are several trains from Karkiv that will run only to Sumy or from Kharkiv respectively, reported the Vorozhba City Council, adding that from Sumy to Bilopillia and Vorozhba and back, it would be possible to travel via an alternate route.
