SUMY MORNING REPORT – Oct 20

Governor Oleh Hryhorov reported to Suspilne that there were no casualties among civilians despite the Russian forces carrying out 58 strikes across 28 settlements of 11 territorial communities of the region, with the most recorded attacks in the Sumy and Shostka districts.

Russia struck the region with at least 5 guided bombs, over 10 VOG drops from grenades, and more than 10 strikes with MLRS, as well as using FPV drones, causing damage to a private house overnight in the Boromlianska community.

Attacks last night on the railway infrastructure had caused issues this morning with the passenger network, including multiple delays for passengers in nationwide and suburban travel, reported Ukrzaliznytsia to Suspilne.
