Russia’s Public Chamber has proposed to create a dating app on the State Services portal, as the proposer Sergey Rybalchenko, the Chairman of the Commission on Demography and Family Protection of the Public Chamber of Russia added that it would help “those who want to start a family.”
“I think it would be best if a service for dating with the aim of starting a family was created on a special information resource under the “Family” state services portal,” Rybalchenko said.
Rybalchenko emphasised that the resource could offer tools for mediating family conflicts, noting that the platform could provide assistance in starting a family, including those participants of the Special Military Operation, however, it’s still not clear whether these functions would be implemented.
In Rybalchenko’s opinion, wives of participants of the war with Ukraine could be involved in the development: “They know what problems the guys who returned from the combat zone face, what psychological problems they have, how to build relationships.”
