Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Administration Ivan Fedorov reported that there were several attacks on the regional centre overnight.
Seven private houses were damaged, but utility services were on standby and immediately began to deal with the consequences, closing the OSB windows so that residents could return home in the Shevchenko district.
Just as midnight was approaching, a drone hit the ground in a residential area of the city near multi-story buildings in the Kosmichny district.
According to Fedorov, the blast wave damaged 5 multi-story buildings and 2 private sector houses, along with windows broken and balconies destroyed, as rescuers, police and utility services attended the scene immediately, and work was ongoing this morning.
Fedorov reported that 2 people were injured overnight, but both of them had refused admission to hospital.
One man aged 67 and two women aged 48 and 57 were injured as a result of the attacks yesterday in the region, as Russia carried out 799 strikes on 33 populated areas.
Russia carried out 14 airstrikes, used 493 drones of various types, along with 7 MLRS launches and 285 artillery strikes, resulting in 132 reports of damage to housing and infrastructure facilities.
