Ukraine are continuing their attempts to further reduce Russia’s exports and oil refining processes with attacks on plants throughout multiple regions of Russia.
Drones travelled more than 1400km yesterday from the SBU Special Operatio9ns Centre “Alpha” to the “Orskneftoorgsintez” Refinery, located in the City of Orsk, Orenburg region of the Russian Federation.
With four primary processing units, the refinery produces around 30 types of products, including gasoline, diesel fuel, lubricants, aviation kerosene, bitumen, fuel oil, and is one of the leading oil refineries in Russia.
At least four explosions were heard in the vicinity of the refinery, followed by intense smoke that had been captured by eyewitnesses, who recorded the second attack on the enterprise this year, following the first attack on October 3.
Ukraine’s General Staff said: “The SBU continues to deliver precise strikes on oil and gas industry facilities in Russia that bring the enemy money for the war against Ukraine. Such attacks undermine the economic potential of the aggressor, reduce its oil revenues, and complicate the logistics of supplying the army.”
