A red, white, and blue design championed by President Trump will be adopted as the new appearance for Air Force One, according to a US military announcement.
According to the Air Force, the upgraded aircraft set to serve as Air Force One, along with smaller planes used to transport senior government officials, will feature a paint scheme combining red, white, gold, and dark blue.
Boeing is currently upgrading two 747-8 aircraft that are intended to replace the pair of older 747-200 planes currently in use by President Trump, and will assume the Air Force One call sign whenever the president is on board.
