Massive Russian Drone Attack On Dnipro Injured Two People

Miraculously only two people were injured as Russia launched a massive drone attack on Dnipro last night, but despite Ukraine’s Sky Defenders destroying 33 drones in the region, multiple impacts still occurred resulting in a lot of damage.

As a result of the attack a 59-year-old woman and a 67-year-old man were admitted to hospital in a moderate condition, while several fires broke out immediately in districts due to impacts and falling debris.

Damage was caused to a media building, transport and private enterprises, an administrative building, a service station, shops and kiosks, a public catering establishment, road infrastructure and rail infrastructure, 6 apartment buildings, garages, and more than 20 private cars.

Local resident Ms. Tetyana explained that Russia was playing a cruel roulette with Ukrainians, because there’s dozens of drones flying over the city, and they’re wondering whose life will get ruined this time.

Last night there was an explosion near Tetyana’s family home that is shared with neighbour Nana Danylivna, who once helped build the home together, so eager to have their own little corner, until Russia wants to destroy everything years later.

Russia’s first target was a telecoms tower that was used to broadcast the news, with multiple drones reported to have impacted at the location, while the offices of Suspilne and a Ukrainian radio station were also targeted.

Office members told how they had a large filming pavilion with decorations, costumes and props, but everything and burned and there was nothing left to record, as all that remained from seven years worth of investment and building had been turned to ash, meaning they could no longer make or develop movies for the film industry.

Dnipro Youth Media Centre also reported damage to their premises, including broken windows and damaged equipment.

Meanwhile, an attack on the railway by dozens of drones targeted the station and a suburban depot, damaging the maintenance area where the region’s electric trains were serviced, but there were no casualties reported, and debris was already being cleared by volunteers.

This morning the trains were running without delay, despite the repair shop being significantly destroyed, and damage being sustained to the station building.

Dnipro Mayor Filatov confirmed this morning that the TV tower was damaged, along with a warehouse of women’s intimate hygiene products, a tea packaging production company, a medicine warehouse, a furniture factory, and several other facilities.

A fire broke out on the territory of a private household in the Novoleksandrivka community, while damage was caused to infrastructure in the Samarsky and Pavlohrad districts.

Russia also continued to attack the Nikopol area with FPV drones and artillery, hitting the district centre, Pokrovska, and Chervonohryhorivka communities.
