Head of the Regional State Administration Alexander Ganja reported that Russia attacked more than 30 times during the day yesterday with drones and artillery, mainly affecting three areas of the region.
Five-story buildings and private homes, a business, a lyceum, an administrative building and cars were damaged in the Marganets, Myrivka and Pokrovska community, while attacks were also reported on the Grushivska community in the Kryvyi Rih district and Pokrovska in the Synelnykove district.
Ganja reported that a fire broke out following strikes on Dnipro, but there were no casualties as a result of the attacks, however the transport infrastructure and multistory buildings were damaged.
It was later revealed that a driver was injured following a strike on an electric locomotive at one of the railway stations in Dnipro, reported Oleksiy Kuleba, noting the driver is in a stable condition and a fire broke out at the impact site.
As a result of a Russian attack on the Nikopol district, a fire damaged a private house and a car, reported Ganja, adding that an electricity line was also hit in the Synelnykove district.
This morning the damage was assessed on the residential sector of Dnipro, where damage was recorded to the windows and facades of several high-rise buildings, and there was damage to the territory of a residential complex.
Two people were injured in total following attacks on the Synelnykove district today, with a dozen homes and excavators damaged, while enterprises, multistory buildings and private houses were damaged in Nikopol, which set cars on fire, and the Zelondolsk community of Kryvyi Rih was also under attack.
One of the injured in Synelnykove was a rescuer, clarified Lukashuk, the head of the regional council, noting that the army sent an FPV drone after him at Shakhtarsk, adding that a resident of Pokrovska was injured when a KAB hit one of the frontline villages.
On the night of March 1, Russia attacked the Synelnykove district, targeting the Slavgorod and Mezhiv communities, killing one man, while injuring another man and a woman while private homes were damaged.
A woman was injured in the Pokrovsk community of the Nikopol district following an attack which damaged a private house and a car, while two homes were damaged and a man was injured in the Dnipro district.
