➡️ Throughout the past 24 hours, Russia continued attacking the Ukrainian front lines and regions, as a US-requested three-day aerial ceasefire for both Moscow and Kyiv was nearing at end at midnight, which also lead to a largescale overnight attack including ground-launched ballistic missiles and air-launched cruise missiles.
🔹 President Volodymyr Zelensky issued a statement this morning saying that work has been ongoing to eliminate the consequences of last night’s attack by Russia, stating that the attack was complex, and said the Russians ‘deliberately planned it to cause as much damage as possible to people’s lives, using ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, anti-ship missiles, and Shahed drones.’
🔹 Zelensky said: “There is significant damage to residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure in the capital,” noting that as of the time of the statement, thirteen people had been rescued by the State Emergency Service, while giving condolences to the families and loved ones of the two people who had died.
🔹 “In the region, there were strikes on critical infrastructure,” Zelensky reported: “In the Odesa region, a regular market was hit. Two people were injured in Kharkiv. A multi-apartment building was damaged. This morning a train locomotive on the Kyiv-Sumy route was attacked at a railway station in the Sumy region. Fortunately, there were no casualties. Evacuation of people is under way. There was also attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the Dnipro regions.”
🔹 Zelensky claimed soldiers had shot down 175 aerial targets overnight, but couldn’t shoot down all of them: “Despite the very good results with the cruise missiles, it is particularly difficult to intercept ballistic missiles, and we are constantly stressing this need to our partners,” adding that the issue has already been discussed with the US and EU, and there are more meetings lined up, including today, with representatives of countries and companies that can help with supplies and Ukraine’s FREYJA anti-ballistic missile system.

➡️ News of shelters beginning to fill at 10pm on Monday night signalled a belief from residents that a largescale missile and drone strike could take place, but soon after 10pm, reports started to surface of drone attacks which had targeted the Fastiv and Boryspil districts of Kyiv, along with footage of the scenes.
🔹 Kyiv Mayor Vladimir Klitschko reported two people were killed and 10 residents were injured following the Russian large-scale strike on the Ukrainian capital, noting that five people had been hospitalised, with two diagnosed as being in a serious condition.
🔹 Debris was found in several locations of the Holosiivskyi district, which caused fires to break out in warehouse buildings and on the grounds of a private school, as well as falling on a residential building, where people had been trapped in their apartments (but no fires had been reported), and damage was caused to a 26-story building that was still under construction.
🔹 Warehouse buildings were damaged and caught fire as a result of falling debris in the Darnitskyi district, Klitschko continued, adding that a garage near a private house also caught fire, and damage was caused to a parked car at the location.
🔹 Debris fell and caused fires in warehouse buildings in the Podilskyi district, along with a non-residential building in the Solomianskyi district, and a fire also broke out both a three- and five-story residential building.
🔹 An additional update from the Mayor just after 8am local time noted a fire had broken out as the result of falling debris in the Shevchenkivskyi district, as well as a building damaged in the Podilskyi district.
🔹 Kyiv’s State Emergency Services reported that a fire had broken out just before midnight in the Boryspil district at an industrial facility, noting the fire had destroyed seven trucks, adding that Russia also attacked the building of the logistics enterprise complexes twice, but rescuers quickly arrived and extinguished all the fires.
🔹 According to the SES report, a hit occurred on a 26-story non-residential building on the 23rd floor, noting that structures were destroyed but no fire broke out, but a fire did break out in a garage at another location as a result of falling debris, with flames spreading quickly to a nearby non-residential building and a business centre, and rescuers saved one injured person during the search, adding that two people were also evacuated from an apartment in a 16-story residential building after being trapped due to damage from an explosion.
🔹 Ten people were also trapped in a five-story residential building and were rescued by emergency services, while another person was hospitalised before the services had arrived to the scene in the Solomianskyi district, and the SES also reported a fire in a garage on the property of a private house in the Darnitskyi district had caught fire, but has since been extinguished.
🔹 A fire broke out in a warehouse building as a result of falling debris in the Podilskyi district, which spread to cars and garage boxes nearby, and firefighters this morning were also working to extinguish a fire in garages in the Dnipro district of the capital.
🔹 Rescuers later reported that two people had died during the overnight attack, and the number of injured had increased to 10, as firefighters continued to work on blazes in non-residential buildings at several addresses within the Holosiivskyi and Podilskyi districts, and a fire that broke out in vegetation in the Dniprovskyi district had been contained as of 8:30am local time.
🔹 The SES also said that as a consequence of attacks in Boryspil and Fastiv last night, seven trucks were destroyed by a fire that broke out at industrial enterprises and a logistics complex, while one person was injured and damage reported due to strikes or debris in Bila Tserkva, Brovary, and Obukhiv.
🔹 Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office released an update at 8am through the Press Service, confirming that two people had been reportedly killed in the Solomianskyi district of Kyiv, while ten residents of the Holosiivskyi, Solomianskyi, and Darnitskyi districts had been injured.
🔹 Damage was recorded to at least 14 multi-story buildings, a dormitory, a school, a polyclinic, 25 vehicles, a supermarket, a gas station, and various warehouse facilities, reported the Prosecutor’s Office, noting that rescuers and law enforcement officers continued to document the sites of the impacts and debris from missiles and drones.
🔹 A pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators from the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the city of Kyiv and the Kyiv region into an alleged war crime committed by the Russian military, which resulted in the death of two people.
🔹 Structural damage had been caused to the Tetra Pak multinational food packaging and processing factory in northern Kyiv, after the site was targeted by Iskander-M/Kn-23 ballistic missile strikes, while NASA FIRMS data indicated a large fire burning in the vicinity of the Tandem Container Factory in southern Kyiv following several Russian Zircon hypersonic cruise missile strikes.
🔹 The overnight attack also resulted in the ‘Taras Shevchenko’ metro station being damaged, and Hey Kyiv also said there was a report of a strike near the zoo in the local vicinity, but this was unconfirmed as of 8:30am.
🔹 Consequences of the attack on the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv was published by Hey Kyiv, which showed the results of a strike on an enterprise, resulting in the destruction of a vehicle, along with three buildings completely destroyed and burned to the ground.
🔹 Several residential buildings in the Shevchenkivskyi district were also damaged as a result of the overnight attack, with a fire breaking out in nearby warehouse premises, but no casualties were reported, and all relevant services were working at the scene, Oleksandr Sazanovich reported.
🔹 Ukraine’s Channel 24 shared additional footage from Kyiv, while additionally reporting that the VARUS supermarket in the Solomianskyi district of the capital had been destroyed.
🔹 Meanwhile, hundreds of people in Kyiv were left queueing following the Russian attack on a train station and train, (as well as the Taras Shevchenko metro station), which had been on the Sumy-Kyiv line, and thankfully, the train had stopped in advance due to the attacks by a monitoring team from Ukrzaliznytsia, and the passengers and employees had been evacuated to a safe distance.

➡️ Ukraine’s General Staff reported that 244 combat clashes were recorded in 24 hours up to 8am this morning, claiming that on September 7, Russia launched 99 air strikes, dropped 285 guided aerial bombs, used 8495 kamikaze drones, and carried out 2508 shellings, 26 of which involved MLRS systems.
🔹 During the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Air Force, rocket forces, and artillery of the Defence Forces struck five areas of Russian personnel, four command and control points for unmanned aerial vehicles, and two enemy artillery positions.
🔹 Russia are alleged to have suffered around 1410 personnel losses, while damage or destruction was caused to one combat armoured vehicle, 30 artillery systems, one MLRS system, three air defence systems, five ground-based robotic complexes, 1592 unmanned aerial vehicles, and 452 units of Russian vehicles.
➡️ According to the morning update of overnight attacks from the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia launched an attack overnight on Ukraine using anti-ship Onyx missiles, ballistic Iskander-M/S-400/KN-23 missiles, along with 32 kh-101 cruise missiles (far lower than expected but higher than the numbers from AMK), and 166 attack drones.
🔹 The report claimed that air defence systems intercepted two ballistic missiles, 31 cruise missiles, and 142 drones, but hits by missiles and drones were recorded at 29 locations throughout the country, and debris fell in nine other places.
➡️ AMK Mapping reported that Russia had launched 24 Kh-101 cruise missiles; 16 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles; 10 Iskander-K cruise missiles; 6 Kn-23 ballistic missiles; 2 Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles; and 2 Oniks supersonic cruise missiles, claiming 60 missiles in total.
🔹 The report by AMK said that around 19 Kh-101 cruise missiles were intercepted, along with 6 Iskander-K cruise missiles, and 2 Kn-23 ballistic missiles, as overnight live updating and reporting by AMK noted the Ukrainian Air Force had some success with shooting down cruise missiles, along with supporting air defence systems.

➡️ Air defences in the region neutralised nine Russian missiles and six drones, but a man working in a field in the Zolotonsky district was injured when a drone fell and detonated, which also destroyed a nearby car.
CHERNIHIV
➡️ Eighteen explosions were recorded yesterday in the border region of Chernihiv, according to reports from the Local Military Administration, who noted that the settlements of Novgorod-Siverskyi and Semenivka came under fire from FPV drones, artillery, and rockets from MLRS systems.
🔹 During the early hours of the morning, a Russian Banderol drone impact caused damage to trucks, while shattering the windows of a nearby administrative building, but no one was injured in the incident.

➡️ Russia’s attacks in the early morning of September 8 resulted in a fire and rescue unit damaged, but the rescuers were in a shelter at the time and were not injured.
🔹 During the night, Russia targeted four districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region almost 20 times, causing reports of damage, fires, and an injured woman was reported in the Kryvyi Rih area.

🔹 Head of the Regional Military Administration, Alexander Ganza, echoed the claims of the regional defence forces, claiming that ten drones were destroyed by air defence systems in the sky over the Dnipropetrovsk region during the night of September 8, Suspilne Dnipro reported.
🔹 Dnipropetrovsk State Emergency Services said this morning that Russia deliberately targeted a SES unit in the Synelnykove district yesterday, noting that the fire and rescue unit had been damaged, but thankfully the rescuers had been in a shelter at the time of the attack.
🔹 Vasylkivska and Petropavlivska were under Russian strikes throughout the night, while an attack on the Kryvyi Rih district centre resulted in a 29-year old woman being injured and damage to an administrative building.
🔹 An agricultural enterprise was damaged in the Troitska community of Pavlohrad, while fires that broke out as a result of attacks in the cities of Nikopol, Myrivska, and Pokrovska, had been extinguished as of 9am this morning.

➡️ Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Syniehubov reported that Russian strikes on the Kyiv and Shevchenkivskyi districts of Kharkiv resulted in a 17-year-old boy and a 68-year-old man being injured, while a second attack caused a severe stress reaction to a 58-year-old woman when a multi-story building, car, and a café were damaged.
🔹 According to the Press Service of the Regional Military Administration, a 37-year-old man was injured following a strike on Zolochiv, which resulted in damage to eight private houses, a trailer, a garage, and a car.
🔹 Head of the Local Military Administration Vitalii Karabanov said on Monday that a civilian enterprise in Balakliia was targeted on the afternoon of September 7, but didn’t give any further information.
🔹 Russia struck an agricultural enterprise in Slatyne yesterday morning, according to the Head of the Derhachi Local Military Administration Viacheslav Zadorozhnyi, who said that damage was caused to a garage, a car, a tractor, and a seeder.

🔹 A Russian drone crashed into the Lozovenkivsky reservoir last night, reported the Head of the Malodaniliv community Alexander Holobov, who added that fishermen and recreational users were asked to refrain from fishing, swimming, and boating on the reservoir, until specialists had removed the drone and made the area safe.
🔹 Russian drones reportedly struck fibre optic cables in Zolochiv during the evening of September 7 and morning of September 8, reported Head of the State Security Service Viktor Kovalenko, who confirmed that private homes, outbuildings, and cars had been damaged.
🔹 Head of the Regional Military Administration Oleg Syniehubov reported this morning that Russia had targeted eight settlements of Kharkiv in total, noting that Russia had used two guided aerial bombs, two Geran-2 drones, two Molniya drones, five FPV drones, and 15 drones of a type yet to be determined.

➡️ Head of the Regional State Administration Olexandr Produkin reported strikes, drone attacks and artillery shelling had been noted in 30 settlements of the region within the previous 24 hours until 6am this morning.
🔹 Russia targeted critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas in the region, causing damage to 5 multi-story buildings and 13 private houses, while also damaging an administrative building, a gas pipeline, an outbuilding, agricultural machinery, and private vehicles.
🔹 Produkin said that one person was killed and 13 people were injured during the past day, while teams were able to evacuate 8 people from liberated communities of the region.
➡️ Urgent drone activity in Kherson City’s territorial communities was published by Hueviy Kherson, who warned that the most dangerous locations in the city include: Port and river port; Zabal’ka; Korabel district; Kherson City Centre; Kovsh; Shevchenko Park; Dniprovsky District; Chornomorska Street; Independence Avenue’ Tavriyskyi District; Military Enlistment Office; Silicate Plant; Machine-Building Plant; and Kulish Theatre.

➡️ Russia targeted the Mykolaiv region and flew drones over the region throughout September 7, reported the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, who reported that there had been no reports of damage or injuries, while adding that three FPV drones and a Molniya attack drone targeted the Ochakiv community, but no one had been injured.
ODESA
➡️ Following a Russian strike in the early hours of the morning, the largest wholesale and retail market for industrial goods in Europe – the ‘7th Kilometre’ market on the outskirts of Odesa, had suffered extensive damage, reported the regional military administration, who said that damage had been caused to trading pavilions (stores), and a 58-year-old security guard had been injured.
🔹 Deputy Director of the market, Iryna Tkach, told Suspilne that the strike had resulted in damage to administrative facilities near the restrooms, Trukha Odesa reported, citing Hromadske.

➡️ Fragments of a Russian missile fell in an open area on Sunday in the Lubensky district, reported Head of the Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Dyakivnych, who stated there was no injuries or fire, despite a smoke plume at the scene.
SUMY
➡️ Russia appeared to have targeted a passenger train operating on the Kyiv to Sumy route with a drone, but thankfully before the attack, passengers and Ukrzaliznytsia employees had disembarked from the train.
🔹 Sumy’s State Emergency Services extinguished the fire and evacuated 90 people, stating that two buses from the SES and two more from the local authorities were used for transportation purposes.
🔹 Officers from local communities were also present to assist with the evacuation, coordinating actions on the ground, and providing support to the passengers, and there were no casualties according to preliminary information.
ZAPORIZHZHIA
➡️ Twelve people were injured as a result of strikes on Zaporizhzhia City and the region, as Russia launched 785 attacks on 51 populated areas throughout the course of the day, including 20 air strikes, 558 strikes using various types of FPV drones, 6 shellings from MLRS systems, and 201 artillery strikes.
🔹 Head of the Regional State Administration Ivan Fedorov said 132 reports were received about damage to infrastructure facilities, residential buildings, vehicles, and agricultural buildings.
🔹 Six fires broke out in Zaporizhzhia yesterday as a result of shelling, resulting in eight injuries, reported the State Emergency Services.
🔹 Zaporizhzhia police confirmed that 12 people had been injured, and war crimes committed by the Russians were being documented, due to Russia directing attack drones in the direction of the regional centre, which resulted in eight people being injured, adding that two women, aged 28 and 40, and two men, aged 19 and 53, were injured in the Zaporizhzhia District as a result of drone strikes.
🔹 Rescuers attended a drone-damaged multi-story building in Zaporizhzhia City, which resulted in 5 people being injured, along with a fire on the balcony covering 5 square metres that was quickly extinguished by firefighters, but the blast wave and debris damaged nearby apartment buildings, a preschool, and vehicle. Psychologists at the scene provided support to 19 local residents, including 3 children.
🔹 A drone struck a parking lot at another location in the city, resulting in three injuries, as rescuers dealt with a fire involving seven trucks that covered a total area of 250 square metres, and rescuers also extinguished a fire in a truck at a second location which covered an area of 5 square metres.
🔹 Damage was also reported to a summer house within the city, which covered an area of 25 square metres, and services extinguished a fire in dry vegetation over an open area of 600 square metres.
