Commemoration of Nakba Day across Europe

⚡️ Tens of thousands of people took to the streets of Europe to commemorate the seventy-eighth anniversary of Nakba Day.

🔹 Stockholm saw a large crowd gathered at Odenplan Square in response to calls from several civil society organisations that demand an end to Israel’s war crimes in Gaza.

🔹 Greece’s capital city, Athens, saw protestors march towards the embassies of Israel and the US.

🔹 Pro-Palestinian activists in Paris, France, demonstrated on the streets of the capital in support of Palestinians, while several activists climbed the Eiffel Tower and hung a Palestinian flag from its first floor, leading to six being arrested, as they claimed France showed double standards, because the tower was lit in Israeli colours after October 7, but the government refused similar gestures for Palestinians.

🔹 London’s Metropolitan Police launched extensive security operations as several marches were held across London, which included tens of thousands marching through central London in a nationalist rally organised by Tommy Robinson.

🔹 Robinson’s rally saw protestors carrying Union Jacks, St George’s Crosses, and wooden crosses, as they marched through the streets of London, demanding the government stop small boat crossings, opposing mass immigration, and defending Christian values, while counter-protests also took place on the same day.

🔹 One video captured on the day of the rally’s showed British Patriots, Iranians and Jews marching through London side-by-side and peacefully.
