Lozova’s Energy And Zolochiv’s Hospital: 24 Hours In Kharkiv

Russia’s attack on an infectious disease ward of the Zolochiv Hospital released harmful substances into the air, according to local authorities, adding that a fire broke out which caused the air to be polluted with combustion products, and following an environmental inspection they assessed the damage to by more than 130 thousand hryvnias.

Not only was the rail infrastructure attacked in neighbouring Sumy but in Kharkiv’s Lozova too, where rail workers had all moved to shelters at the time of the attack and had avoided any harm, but there was delays on the trains to Ivano-Frankivsk this morning due to the train operating on a different route, and all work was being undertaken to minimise delays, reported Ukrzaliznytsia.

Almost 700 residents of Lozova were without water last night because of a damaged water pipe caused by a Russian strike, according to Lozova City Council, who stated that workers had dismantled more than two metres of the old pipe to replace it with a new steel section, and work was expected to be completed as soon as possible.

Part of the Lozova community was left without power due to a night attack by the Russian Federation, reported the City Mayor Serhiy Zelensky, adding that there weren’t any civilians reported injured as a result of the strike, but 14,500 subscribers of Lozova and Sakhnovshchyna were without power, and rolling blackouts had been applied for 3,000 subscribers in Lozova.

When Russia struck the Derhachi community twice using FPV drones yesterday, one hit a civilian car in Tsupivka at around 16:00, while the other fell in the centre of Slatyne and failed to detonate, according to head of the MBA Vyacheslav Zadorenko, adding that police and bomb disposal experts arrived at the scene and neutralised the warhead.

Russia struck the village of Velykyi Burluk and injured a 78-year-old man, while strikes in the village of Pidsrednie of the Velykoburluk community injured a 56-year-old woman, reported head of the Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov, adding that medics also provided assistance to a 59-year-old man who was wounded in Kozacha Lopan on October 29.
