Trump spoke about Iran after meeting Inter Miami at the White House

Following a meeting with the Major League Soccer Champions, Inter Miami, at the White House, in which Legendary football player Lionel Messi could be seen standing next to Trump as he spoke, along with Luis Suarez just behind, Trump turned his attention to the waiting cameras to speak about Iran.

Comments made by President Donald Trump initially stated that: “As soon as they set off a missile, within 4 minutes the launcher gets hit,” claiming to have taken out 60% of their missiles and 64% of their launchers respectively: “They don’t know what’s happening.”

Trump continued: “I say, ‘what’s left?’ They are tough and they want to fight, they are calling me and saying, ‘how do we make a deal?’ I say, ‘You are being a bit late,’ we want to fight now more than they do.”

In terms of striking Iran, Trump said: “We really had no choice, they were going to hit us if we didn’t hit them because they are crazy – in the long term, the actions we are taking now will dramatically increase the stability of the region, oil prices, the stock market, and everything else.”

Trump added: “I built the military and rebuilt it in my first term, and we‘re using it more than I’d like to use it to be honest with you,” noting that: “The United States will make sure that whoever leads Iran next, Iran will not threaten America, Israel, or anybody.”

Concluding, Trump said: “We urge diplomats around the world to request asylum and to help us shape a new and better Iran.”
