Russia carried out a drone attack on a district of Kherson, dropping explosives on the roof of a one-story building, which caused a fire that was promptly extinguished by the State Emergency Services, reporting no casualties at the site of the incident.
One woman was killed following Russian shelling of Bilozerk, as State Emergency Services published photos from the scene, which showed damage and a fire in a utility building, but this fire was quickly extinguished.
On the morning of February 28, Alexander Prokudin reported of 28 populated areas of the region, including the regional centre, being attacked by the Russian forces, noting that they used drones, aircraft and artillery, targeting residential areas and infrastructure.
15 buildings, a communication tower, transport companies and cars were damaged, while 8 people were injured, Prokudin added.
On the morning of March 1, Prokudin reported that Russia fired on 31 populated areas of the region in the previous 24 hours, killing one person and injuring three others, while three multistory buildings, seven private houses, a gas pipeline, a gas station, and cars had been damaged.
Russian troops fired on the Korabelny district of Kherson at around 10am on March 1, where a 58-year-old man suffered an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound to the head, and was taken to hospital for treatment.
