➡  Strikes on the Kovpakivsky district yesterday caused a fire in a non-residential building and 100 windows in nearby houses to be broken, while one woman who had experienced an acute stress reaction was tended to by an ambulance at the scene, according to acting head of the community Artem Kobzar, adding that an headquarters was being setup at Preschool Educational Institution No.39 to coordinate actions and provide necessary assistance to affected residents.

There was a terrible explosion which caused a fright, followed by balcony and plaster being damaged which also left the balcony compromised, reported resident Svitlana Stryzhakova, adding that as the glass and damage had been cleared on the balcony there was more glass beginning to fall in the hallway, and tomorrow they would begin sorting out the repairs properly.

Although residents were offered alternate temporary housing for the evening, they refused as many had elsewhere to stay overnight, so law enforcement left patrols to protect the property, according to Deputy Mayor Stanislav Polyakov.

Sumy National Police reported that two people were injured as a result of attacks by Russia yesterday, while damage had been caused to apartment buildings, a business premises and a nearby car.

An FPV drone injured a 50-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman in the Yunakivska community, while an 82-year-old woman in the Sumy community sought medical help after suffering acute stress reactions due to a drone strike nearby.

More than 15 KAB strikes and more than 10 VOG drops from UAVs, along with FPV drones and strike drones over the territory, caused damage to civil infrastructure and objects, including the destruction of a civilian car along with a non-residential building and apartment buildings being damaged in the Sumy community.

Over the past day the Russians carried out nearly 90 strikes in 14 territorial communities of the region which resulted in injuries, while most attacks were recorded in the districts of Shostka and Sumy, according to reports by the Regional Military Administration.
