Around two thousand apartment buildings remain without heating following the Russian attacks on both January 9 and 20, reported City Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
Most of the outages are in the Perchersk district on the left bank of the Dnieper in the south of the city, as well as in the neighbouring Solomianskyi and Goloseevskyi districts, but heating was restored to 650 buildings overnight, reported Kiltschko.
Heating was unavailable in 5,635 apartment buildings with Klitschko noting that “almost 80” of them are buildings where heating was already restored after the attack on January 9.”
This morning Klitschko once again advised residents of Kyiv to leave if they could, noting that the attacks on the capital hadn’t finished, and another attack would affect those who remain.
