Russia struck the city of Snovsk in the Chernihiv region yesterday afternoon which damaged a municipal building, reported the Snovsk City Council on their Facebook page.
No casualties were reported, according to the report, while it was noted that all relevant services were working on site.
Head of the Koryukiv Regional Air Defence Force Pavlo Miroshnychenko reported that a UAV struck one of the city’s extracurricular educational institutions, and while there was no information about casualties, there was significant damage to one of the buildings.
During the early hours of January 22, a Russian drone crashed in Chernihiv causing damage to the facade of a high-rise building, reported the Chernihiv Regional Police, while the General Directorate of the State Emergency Region stated they seized a UAV that had crashed between residential buildings.
“The find was carefully transported by specialised equipment to a prepared site and destroyed in accordance with an established procedure, observing all safety measures,” the report stated.
