Ternopol Terror Attack Results In 26 Dead, 100 Injured, 22 Still Missing

Devastating Russian Kh-101 cruise missiles rained down on Ternopil yesterday in a morning of terror for residents, some of who recorded videos that showed between six and seven impact areas across the Ternopil skyline.

Calls quickly rang out to the emergency services for assistance, as news surfaced of damage to high-rise buildings, manufacturing premises and energy infrastructure.

Zelensky this morning offered condolences to the families of those affected and praised emergency services and volunteers for coming together across all regions of Ukraine to help deal with the consequences of the attack, working around the clock to find people within the rubble and to clear the areas.

As of this morning, 26 people were reported to have died, Zelensky stated, adding that three of those were children, while more than 230 rescuers continued to search for the whereabouts of 22 people who are still missing.

Meanwhile, Lviv’s city council will raise their flags to half mast for a second day in memory of those who had sadly lost their lives.
