Three Russian strike drones were recorded hitting one of the Starosty districts of the Sumy community, reported acting Mayor Artem Kobzar, initially stating the attack resulted in no casualties, but power lines and 15 properties had suffered from damage.
Consequences of the attack on Velyka Chernechchyna were reviewed this morning by head of the MBA Serhiy Kryvosheyenko, who confirmed that two hits were on a non-residential building and the third was on a road surface nearby.
Damage had been caused to 13 buildings, while 17 households registered damage, 59 windows were broken, 7 roofs were damaged, and more than 30 houses were left without access to power.
Sumy State Emergency Services confirmed that one fire they extinguished was as a result of damage and destruction to the private sector as well as a non-residential building, finding at least one person injured at the scene.
Russia used more than ten KAB strikes, up to 5 UAV strikes and up to 5 drops from UAVs, causing damage to civil infrastructure objects.
Damage was caused to a private residential house in the Seredyno-Buda community and a private residential house in the Hlukhiv community.
