SERVICES TARGETED IN SUMY ON NOV 23
Russia’s night strike in the early hours of November 23 resulted in damage to residential buildings and the State Emergency Service unit in the Shostka district, where a building and equipment of one of the fire-rescue units were damaged as a result of the strike, and a rescuer was admitted to hospital with acute barotrauma.
Following a Russian attack in another settlement of the district, a non-residential building caught fire, which was promptly extinguished, while in Sumy, the impact site was inspected revealing damage to the residential sector and one of the non-residential buildings had been damaged.
Other attacks on Sumy throughout the night were in the Kovpakivskyi and Zarichnyi districts which resulted in a non-residential building and industrial waste catching fire, but there were no reported casualties, according to the head of the MBA Serhiy Kryvosheyenko.
MLRS shelling in the community of Znob-Novgorod resulted in an injury to a 45-year-old man yesterday, according to the OVA, adding that a non-residential building in the Sumy community was damaged at the same time.
