Russia injured Kharkiv volunteer in Kupiansk, bombed a store in Kramatorsk, situational update and much more in Donetsk in the past 24 hours

Troops of the Russian federation carried out an attack on a store in Kramatorsk using a drone at around 13:55, injuring a 42-year-old man, according to the Kramatorsk regional administration.

According to reports from the Administration, there were two victims as a result of the attack on the store, while they also noted that Russia hit the city with drones twice and dropped two aerial bombs – in total, five people were injured in Kramatorsk during the day and 30 buildings, an educational institution and a hospital suffered damage.

Russia attacked Kramatorsk twice last night, with hits recorded in a multistory building and a gas station, reported Donetsk Police, noting that the Russians had attacked nine populated areas of the region in the past 24 hours.

In Sloviansk yesterday, a Russian drone hit and destroyed a car, while a nearby house also came under fire, reported Head of the Sloviansk Municipal Administration Vadim Lakh.

Six people were injured in the Donetsk region throughout the day, reported the Head of the Regional State Administration Vadim Filashkin, noting that they were residents from Kramatorsk and Mykolaivka.

Volunteer Denis Khristov, known as ‘Hollander’, was injured during an evacuation trip in Husinka in Kupiansk yesterday, Denis reported on his Facebook page, publishing photos that showed blood on his face, while the volunteer’s car, which was used to evacuate passengers from the frontline, had also been damaged.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion four years ago, 4059 residents of the Donetsk region have been killed, and 8020 people have been injured, not including the victims in Volnovakha and Mariupol, whose numbers cannot be accurately determined.

Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled 22 attacks on the Pokrovsky frontline over the corse of the day, noting that the Russians attacked near Rodinskoe, Pokrovskoe, Udachnoe, Molodetskoe, Shakhovoe, and in the direction of the populated area of Shevchenko, reported the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Seventeen attacks were recorded by the Russians in the Kostiantynivsky distinction, and another eleven in the Oleksandrivska section.

According to the Ukrainian Defence Minister Fedorov, the Russian Army loses 156 soldiers for every captured square kilometre of the Donetsk region: “Our benchmark is 200 killed occupiers per km² – this is the level of losses at which advancement becomes impossible.”

For the fourth year of the war, the Defence Forces have repelled 62,887 attacks by the Russian army – and of these, 41,974 were assaults on the frontline in Donbass.
