ODESA MORNING REPORT – Oct 20

Last night alerts sounded for Odesa and the southern regions of Ukraine as the Ukrainian Air Force noted activity around the launch site for the Iskander missiles in Crimea, and soon after the port of Yuhzny was lighting up as at least two Iskanders impacted.

This attack was followed up by a swarm of Geran-2 drones that were approaching the region from the black sea, with videos from eyewitnesses showing at least eight hits from drones or falling debris within the area of the port in Yuzhny, while large fires could be seen in the footage captured.

However, little reporting has come from the Odesa officials or media, which could suggest the targets at the port were not energy, which has been the case so far, but more likely to have been military targets, including storage and warehouses, distribution supply lines, and/or transportation and infrastructure.
