 
									Last night Russia targeted the main rail station in Sumy City, with some hits recorded on private territory that injured eleven people, including four children, according to the State Emergency Service, adding that strikes hit the residential sector and other infrastructure.
Five apartments and seven balconies caught fire on the upper floors of a nine-story residential building, where rescuers saved 12 residents from the higher floors, while a nearby one-story house along with five apartments were damaged by the resulting blast wave, and fires broke out in two outbuildings.
An headquarters was immediately set up at the shelter of the neighbouring school, where residents of the affected building could turn for overnight stays and assistance, while a Resilience Point had been established so residents could warm up and charge gadgets, reported the Sumy City Council.
One resident showed Suspilne this morning the damage to their apartment, adding that she had been in the hallway and her husband had been under a blanket at the time of the attack, protecting them from potential shrapnel wounds, and discovered after the attack that all the windows had been blown out in the apartment.
An attack was noted in the Kovpakivsky district where there were also casualties, but the attack was ongoing, according to the Sumy Regional Military Administration Oleh Hryhorov, while Suspilne reports at the scene captured a raging fire in an apartment building.
This morning it was reported that 72 apartments were left without gas and water, 180 without electricity, while more than 330 windows and 350 balcony frames were broken in an apartment building, and roofs of production facilities were damaged, according to head of the MBA Serhiy Kryvosyheyenko.
Rescuers noted the greatest destruction and largest blaze at the rail station, adding that all fires had since been extinguished, as the Sumy Regional Military Administration noted at least 10 UAV hits in Sumy City.
Russian military struck the passenger depot, resulting in damage to the building and other utility premises of Ukrzaliznytsia, trains and rail infrastructure, while delays were reported across Ukraine as a result of the strikes in Sumy.
An attack on a gas station yesterday, where the moment of impact had been caught on camera by eyewitnesses, a 54-year-old man and a 38-year-old man were reported wounded and being treated on an outpatient basis, according to Head of the OVA Hryhorov, adding that four people were injured and glazing of neighbouring buildings were damaged following the attack.
Fifteen people were injured in total in one day as a result of shelling, according to the National Police of Sumy, adding that damage was caused to civilian infrastructure objects including a gas station building, a railway station, an oxygen station, a locomotive, a dormitory, and three apartment buildings, as well as four passenger cars.
Police clarified that four people were injured as a result of the gas station strike, while eleven people were injured, including four children, resulting in an hospital admission for a 14-year-old girl, as Russia struck Sumy at least ten times overnight.
According to the regional prosecutor’s update this morning, a 68-year-old man, two women aged 73 and 59, and two girls aged 14 and 13, were injured as a result of a strike on an apartment building, while several of the apartments had burned down.
Another drone had damaged a two-story house causing injuries to four people including two women aged 47 and 31, as well as two boys aged 15 and 7.
Critical infrastructure facilities were damaged, causing injuries to two men aged 49 and 54 who were working as security guards at the railway.
Ukrzaliznytsia published footage showing damage to a locomotive as well as buildings where technical inspections and preparation for departure of trains was carried out, noting damage to the Sumy-Kyiv line, and adding that trains were running on alternate routes so delays in traffic was possible.
