⚡ ️ UKRAINE MORNING REPORT: January 20 – Past 24 hours from all regions that were attacked, which today includes: #Sumy, #Kyiv, #Donetsk, #Dnipropetrovsk, #Odessa, #Kharkiv, #Poltava, #Zaporizhzhia, #Rivne, #Vinnytsia, #Cherkasy, and #Chernihiv – a total of 12 regions.

⚡ ️ SUMY

🔹 ️ Over the past day there were six private cars that were damaged along with the windows of a multi-story apartment building and a gas station, reported Sumy Police, also reporting damage to two private houses, a college and a non-residential building in the Glukhiv City community, and private houses in the Krasnopil and Mykolaiv communities.

🔹 ️ An attack with four KABs on the centre of Bilopillia resulted in damage to residential buildings and a gas pipeline, leaving more than 200 people without gas, but no information was reported about casualties by Gazmerezhi.

⚡ ️ KYIV

🔹 ️ More than 5,600 multi-story buildings were left without heating after the attack on Kyiv in the early hours of the morning, reported city Mayor Klitschko, noting that almost 80% of them were buildings where heat supply had been restored after the damage that was caused on January 9.

🔹 ️ According to Klitschko, 16 buildings were left without heat as of yesterday because of the January 9 attack, but due to the attack this morning, the left bank of Kyiv was without water supply, as utility and energy workers began to restore heat, water, and electricity, as soon as the situation was safe.

🔹 ️ Reports from multiple sources suggested that strikes were carried out on the TPP-5 and TPP-6 power plants, which is the reason for the outages in the city, as social infrastructure facilities were switched to autonomous mode, and the left bank of Kyiv was left without power.

🔹 ️ Later reports suggested a 59-year-old man was injured in the Kyiv region, while drones fell in one area of the capital which damaged a non-residential building as a result of the explosion, while 20 cars were on fire in the Dnipro district, and attacks on energy infrastructure had left the left bank of Kyiv without power and water supplies.

🔹 ️ Kyiv Police reported that the windows and the fence of a private house were damaged in the Darnytsia district, while drone debris fell in a cemetery grounds in the Desnyansky district.

🔹 ️ As a result of the attack on the Bucha district, a 50-year-old man had been killed, reported the OVA, noting that the attack also damaged the premises of two gas stations.

🔹 ️ Non-residential buildings and a primary school building were damaged in the Dnipro district of Kyiv, reported Klitschko, noting that there was no fire, but the blast wave damaged several windows in nearby residential buildings.

🔹 ️ DTEK released a statement around 10:30am local time, informing residents that energy workers had restored power to 162,000 homes following last night’s attack, which originally left 335,000 people without electricity, now down to 173,000 families temporarily without supply, and emergency power outages in the capital were ongoing.

🔹 ️ Ukraine online reported this morning that X101 cruise missiles also targeted the Kyiv region, mainly the Irpin and Bucha districts, along with attacks on the thermal power plant.

⚡ ️ DONESK

🔹 ️ Two people were killed in the Slaviansk district by Russian attacks, and five more residents of the region were injured, reported the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Vadim Filashkin in the morning update.

🔹 ️ Druzhkivka and Sloviansk were left without a water supply due to a power outage according to the local military administrations, noting that centralised water supply was unavailable in the districts if Liseniy, Molodozhny, TSNIL, and the village of Mirne in the Slovansk district.

🔹 ️ Mariupol City Council reported power supply disruptions led to the closing of boiler houses in the Left-Bank and Kalmius districts of the city, as residents have begun to regularly file complaints about the lack of heating and electricity in their homes to “hotline” phone numbers.

🔹 ️ Konstiantynivka came under attack with artillery, causing injury to one person, reported the Head of the CMA, Serhei Horbunov.

🔹 ️ Russia dropped five guided bombs on Solviansk and hit Mykolaivka with five Grad multiple rockets yesterday, targeting 11 populated areas of the region, reported Donetsk Police.

⚡ ️ DNIPROPETROVSK

🔹 ️ An injury occurred to a 44-year-old man following a missile strike on the Petropavlovska community on January 19, reported head of the Regional State Administration Alexander Ganja, noting that the man was hospitalised in a moderate condition.

🔹 ️ Two women aged 76 and 67 were injured due to an attack on Dnipro city on the night of January 20, which also caused a fire to break out, damaging the enterprise, as well as nearby windows in buildings, along with damage to a multi-story building, infrastructure, and 5 cars.

🔹 ️ As a result of the attack on Dnipro, a large boiler house had been damaged, leaving hundreds of buildings without heat, according to city Mayor Boris Filatov.

🔹 ️ Damage was caused to a private house in the Novoalexandrivska community of the Dnipro district as a result of a drone attack, while the Pokrovska community in the Nikopol district was shelled with heavy artillery.

🔹 ️ Mayor Boris Filatov confirmed that the damage to a large boiler house had left hundreds of buildings in the region without heat, but work was ongoing to restore these residents as soon as the situation allows.

⚡ ️ ODESSA

🔹 ️ Damage was recorded to a multi-story building in the city of Chornomorsk as a result of a drone strike, mainly damaging the windows and the facade, although there were no reports about injuries from the Head of the Regional State Administration Oleg Kiper, who also noted that energy infrastructure was damaged in the Odessa region.

🔹 ️ Videos published from some Russian sources appeared to show an impact of a drone hitting the substation in Malodolinskoe, believed to be the energy infrastructure because of a characteristic blue flash.

⚡ ️ KHARKIV

🔹 ️ Grad missiles were used to attack the Slobidsky district of Kharkiv yesterday, killing one person and injuring 13 others, according to the press service of the State Emergency Services, noting that a residential building and outbuildings were partially destroyed, and damage was caused to other private and multi-family houses.

🔹 ️ MLRS launchers attacked the Oskol settlement in the Izium district resulting in a 55-year-old driver of a bread truck being injured, reported the Press Service of the Kharkiv Regional Police.

🔹 ️ Last night a Russian drone hit the surface of a road in Merefa in the Kharkiv district, reported the SES, noting that a car was on fire, while damage was caused to commercial establishments, cafes, multi-family houses, and a truck, but there were no casualties.

🔹 ️ Russia attacked a critical infrastructure object with four missiles yesterday according to reports from Mayor Igor Terekhov, noting that there were no casualties as a result of the attack.

🔹 ️ Attacks from the Russians damaged a car in the Spodobivka settlement of the Kupyansk district as well as a residential building in Grushkivka, reported the Head of the Regional State Administration Oleg Sineghubov, noting that a warehouse of a farm enterprise in Zolochiv of the Bogodukhiv district along with a house and outbuilding in Ivaski were also damaged.

⚡ ️ POLTAVA

🔹 ️ An attack on the region resulted in damage to a private house in the Kremenchuk district, while another hit was recorded on an industrial facility, but emergency services worked promptly to tackle the fires that resulted, and there was no casualties, reported Poltava RMA Dyakivnych.

🔹 ️ Fires were reported at several locations by the State Emergency Services, noting that all fires had been extinguished using equipment from the DCNS along with two fire trains from Ukrzaliznytsia.

⚡ ️ ZAPORIZHZHIA

🔹 ️ Residents of Zaporizhzhia have been living in constant fear of Russian attacks for almost a day, with continuous air alerts ringing out around the regions, reported Head of the Regional State Administration Ivan Fedorov, adding that it was a difficult situation, both physically and psychologically, but the region continued to function, services were in place, critical infrastructure was being maintained, and help was being provided to those in need.

⚡ ️ RIVNE

🔹 ️ Energy was targeted in the Rivne region overnight by the Russian forces, leaving around 10,000 subscribers without power this morning, but all consumers who were left without power had been reconnected as of 10am local time, reported Head of the Regional State Administration Alexander Koval.

⚡ ️ VINNYTSIA

🔹 ️ Power stations and energy infrastructure were also the target in the region, leaving homes without power as of this morning, but work was continuing in enhanced mode, and some hourly power outage schedules were in effect in the city, designed to help with planned repair work on the water and electricity networks, reported Head of the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration Natalia Zabolotna.

⚡ ️ CHERKASY

🔹 ️ Special emergency shutdown schedules had been applied as of this morning so that energy workers could restore a stable electricity supply, and it will be cancelled after the situation has stabilised, following attacks by the Russian forces last night, reported Suspilne Cherkasy.

⚡ ️ CHERNIHIV

🔹 ️ Russia used drones to attack the communities of Kozoletska and Kyptivska according to the Chernihiv Regional Police, noting that damage was caused to residential buildings and outbuildings, but there was no information about casualties.

🔹 ️ Head of the Regional State Administration Vyacheslav Chaus reported that 51 strikes and 80 explosions were reported in the region yesterday, including an attack on the Snovsk community with a Lancet drone that resulted in damage to a residential building, an outbuilding, and a car.
