During the evening there was an attack by the Russians on the private sector of Sloviansk using a KUB-10E drone, reported Head of the Community Vadym Lakh, noting that buildings and cars were damaged.
Russian attacks had already damaged a lot of the energy infrastructure in the Donetsk region, but the snow, frost and subsequent thaw is causing additional issues.
An FPV drone strike in Druzhkivka killed a civilian man, while another civilian in Oleksiyevo-Druzhkivka was also attacked with a suicide drone, as Russia attacked eight populated areas of the region, reported the Donetsk Police.
Three private houses and three vehicles were damaged in Bilenke, three more private households were damaged in Yasnohirka, and another was damaged in Kramatorsk.
Main and internal gas pipelines were damaged by Russian attacks, while due to temperature fluctuations, some sections of the heating network had thawed, which led to numerous leaks, reported the Head of the Druzhkivka Municipal Heat and Water Supply Company Andriy Pankov.
“In particular, in the destroyed and abandoned apartments, the radiators, frozen by the cold, began to thaw and massively fail. Currently, several multi-apartment buildings are without heating, and, unfortunately, their number has increased over the past night,” said Pankov.
Pankov noted that a limited number of people are working for the city to physically carry out the emergency repair work.
Notice to anyone Ukrainian: Russia has forbidden the reporting of consequences of UAF attacks, except for accredited media outlets, which was notified by a corresponding decree signed by Pushilin.
According to sources, the ban applies to information that allows identifying the type of drone, the launch site, location, fall, and flight path, while materials that can be used to determine attack objects and the nature of the damage are prohibited.
