An explosion at the Savelyevsky Train Station square in Moscow killed 34-year-old Denis Bratuschenko, along with the bomber, a 22-year-old native from Udmurtia, while two traffic police officers were also injured.
Bratuschenko started his service in the Moscow police force in 2019, and is survived by his wife and two young children, who will be aided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Criminal cases have been initiated on the attempt on the life of a law enforcement officer and illegal trafficking of explosive devices.
