Four people died yesterday following a drone strike on Novhorod-Siverskyi, including two men and two women, while seven others were injured, which included a 10-year-old girl, who was being transported to the regional children’s hospital, and one of the injured was reported in a serious condition, according to the Head of the Regional Police Ivan Ischenko.
According to the Head of the Novhorod-Siverskyi RMA Oleksandr Seliverstov, Russia had used Geran-2 drones and Tornado multiple rocket launcher systems that caused more than 20 explosions to ring out across the region, adding that at least ten people were injured as a result of the attack.
Russian channels attempted to say that a blackout had been caused due to a strike on energy infrastructure in the Chernihiv region, continuing to leave some districts without power for more than 24 hours.
