Another 24 hours of constant attacks in Zaporizhzhia

For more than 30 minutes, the region came under attack from airstrikes by Russian planes dropping aerial bombs, between 15:40 and 16:15 last night.

No information was received about any casualties, but a fire that broke out in a warehouse was attended to by firefighters from the local department who extinguished the fire, also noting damage to nearby buildings as a result of the blast wave.

Around thirty minutes later, Russia launched a drone attack at the regional centre, and while there was no information about casualties, a fire broke out as a result of the attack which rescuers extinguished promptly.

Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Ivan Fedorov reported that a Russian attack with an FPV drone in the village of Tavriyske injured the 63-year-old driver, who was provided all the necessary assistance at the scene.

Around midnight the Russians launched an attack on one of the region’s populated areas killing three people, including a man aged 62, and women aged 26 and 50, while three more people were injured.

Damage was caused to 7 private houses, while another was destroyed, as rescuers tackled a fire in a residential building and a gas pipe fire, and as of this morning all rescue efforts had been completed.

Russia struck Sofiyivka with two drones this morning, injuring a 67-year-old man, who is receiving all the medical assistance required, while the attacks hit private yards, destroying one building, as well as damaging nearby structures and a car.
