For more than 30 minutes, the region came under attack from airstrikes by Russian planes dropping aerial bombs, between 15:40 and 16:15 last night.
No information was received about any casualties, but a fire that broke out in a warehouse was attended to by firefighters from the local department who extinguished the fire, also noting damage to nearby buildings as a result of the blast wave.
Around thirty minutes later, Russia launched a drone attack at the regional centre, and while there was no information about casualties, a fire broke out as a result of the attack which rescuers extinguished promptly.
Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Ivan Fedorov reported that a Russian attack with an FPV drone in the village of Tavriyske injured the 63-year-old driver, who was provided all the necessary assistance at the scene.
Around midnight the Russians launched an attack on one of the region’s populated areas killing three people, including a man aged 62, and women aged 26 and 50, while three more people were injured.
Damage was caused to 7 private houses, while another was destroyed, as rescuers tackled a fire in a residential building and a gas pipe fire, and as of this morning all rescue efforts had been completed.
Russia struck Sofiyivka with two drones this morning, injuring a 67-year-old man, who is receiving all the medical assistance required, while the attacks hit private yards, destroying one building, as well as damaging nearby structures and a car.
Over the past 24 hours, three people have died and a total of 16 injured during Russia’s attacks, as 841 strikes were carried out on 34 populated areas of the region.
Russia carried out 23 airstrikes, used 475 various types of drones, launched 8 attacks with MLRS and struck 225 times with heavy artillery, causing 385 reports of damage to housing, cars and infrastructure.
