⚡️ A Hamas delegation arrived in Cairo on Tuesday afternoon to continue negotiations ont he second phase of the ceasefire agreement, holding talks with mediators from Egypt, Qatar, andTurkey, according to Asharq Al-Awsat.
🔹 Hamas took revised proposals on two key issues: the future of its weapons, and the status of government employees in Gaza.
🔹 The group is prepared to accept the inclusion of the term ‘infrastructure’ in discussions on weapons and is willing to place its arms under monitoring by mediators, the Board of Peace, and Gaza’s future administrative committee.
🔹 Hamas decided to remove Qassam Brigades members from Gaza government payrolls, with those holding the rank of platoon leader or above to be paid by the armed wing instead.
⚡️ The Palestinian technocratic committee, also known as the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza, (NCAG), announced that it is prepared to assume governance of the Strip only after Israeli occupation forces withdraw and following the approval by both the Board of Peace and the UN Security Council.
🔹 According to the report by Haaretz, the position contradicted recent Israeli briefings that the plan’s initial phase would not require an Israeli withdrawal.
🔹 The announcement came a day after Israel’s security cabinet approved the initial deployment of an ‘international stabilisation force’ into a limited area of Rafah, ahead of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s trip to Washington.
🔹 According to sources familiar with the cabinet’s decision, the force will initially deploy in a small section of Rafah in a gradual and limited capacity, while members of NCAG will not enter the Strip at this stage.
🔹 The committee said it has completed the institutional and operational preparations needed to govern Gaza and also presented a $30 billion reconstruction plan during meetings with a Belgian delegation in Cairo.
🔹 Haaretz added that, although Hamas had announced the transfer of Gaza’s civilian administration to the NCAG, Israel had so far refused to allow its Cairo-based members to enter the Gaza Strip.
⚡️ Sixty Palestinian prisoners were released from Israeli prisons and returned to the Gaza Strip, arriving at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis in a visibly emaciated, injured, and in several cases, unable to walk, reported Al Jazeera.
🔹 The men, many of whom had been held for more than a year under Israel’s ‘unlawful combatant’ designation, described severe beatings, starvation, and degrading treatment.

🔹 The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said it had been denied access to Palestinian detainees since October 2023, while a recent UN commission of inquiry found that Palestinian children in Israel custody had been subjected to torture, sexual abuse, and other forms of mistreatment.
⚡️ Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said on Tuesday: “Qatar bears responsibility for the October 7 massacre,” adding that it financed the events of October 7 and continued to host and provide sanctuary in Doha for leaders of the terrorist organisation.
🔹 Bennett said: “Qatar has never condemned the October 7 massacre, but instead, it celebrated the killing, murder, and rape of Israeli civilians it carried out during the attack,” Bennett said, adding: “Qatar is an enemy, and we will designate it as an enemy state [If Bennett was to become Prime Minister].”
🔹 Qatar condemned the comments made by Bennett, accusing him of spreading lies, while reiterating that its role in the region is that of a mediator and peace broker, highlighting its involvement in efforts to secure multiple ceasefires.
WEST BANK
⚡️ Israeli occupation forces entered the West Bank city of Qalqilya on Tuesday, forcibly raiding the headquarters of Al-Huda Quran Radio, seizing its broadcasting equipment in the process.
🔹 Accompanied by military bulldozers, the troops sealed the premises and posted an administrative order declaring the media outlet an unlawful association under the pretext of supporting terrorism, according to Anadolu Agency.
⚡️ Footage circulating from Masafer Yatta in the south of Hebron on Tuesday showed Palestinian youths confronting an armed Israeli settler who had entered Palestinian land with his livestock.
🔹 During the confrontation,a Palestinian youth reportedly seized the settlers’ weapon, using it to force him and the animals to leave the area, reported Quds News Network.
🔹 The incitement comes days after a confrontation in the village of Tel, where Farouq Ramadan disarmed a violent Israeli settler during an attack on the village, before Israeli occupation forces killed him and three of his relatives.
🔹 Israeli media have reported that Prime Minister Netanyahu expressed concerns the Tel incident may have broken what he described as a ‘barrier of fear’ among Palestinians.
⚡️ Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi condemned the escalation of Israeli aggression and violence by settlers in the West Bank.

⚡️ Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz ordered the military this week to prepare to seize another Palestinian refugee camp in the West Bank while expanding offensive operations across the territory, according to Ynet.
🔹 National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir also called for harsher collective punishments against Palestinians, saying that ‘for every Jew who is murdered, the enemy must absorb the loss of land and homes,’ and urged the Palestinian towns to be treated like Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza.
🔹 On the ground, Israeli occupation forces demolished three homes in Palestinian areas, including one in Shuqba, west of Ramallah, and two in Deir Razih, east of Dura in the Hebron governorate.
🔹 According to The New Arab, local officials reported that around 90 homes in Shuqba have received demolition or stop-work orders, meanwhile, Jewish settlers assaulted Palestinians in several areas, including Al-Minya near Bethlehem and Khillet al-Hummus south ofYatte.
🔹 Forces also carried out widespread raids and arrests across the Occupied West Bank, detaining Palestinians in Tukarem, Jenin, Nablus, Ramallah, Qalqilya, and Bethlehem.
⚡️ Hamas released a statement, affirming the call by the Israel Katz to destroy the new refugee camp in the West Bank and to displace its residents, is a fascist and terrorist call and an explicit expression of the ‘genocidal and criminal mentality’ that governs the occupation’s leaders, as well as an expression of their willingness to commit ‘heinous crimes and violations against our Palestinian people.’
🔹 “We warn of the extremist Zionist government’s criminal plans against the occupied West Bank, as unveiled in Katz statements, and in previous statements of Ben-Gvir and Smotrich, who called for expanding the approach of displacing and destroying the refugee camps of Jenin and Tulkarem, as part of the terrorist occupation government’s policy, which violates all values, conventions, and norms,” the statement said.
🔹 According to the statement, the ongoing crimes, operations of killing, terrorism, and intimidation, as well as the systematic destruction carried out by the government and army in the West Bank cities and camps will not deter their free people, their valiant resistance, and rebellious youth from remaining steadfast, resisting, and confronting the occupation and its fascism, as their people are stronger than the occupation’s brutality and schemes.
