Russia attacked Odessa with strike drones yesterday morning, causing damage to residential buildings, injuring a man and killing the man’s cat, reported Head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration Oleg Kiper.
“I put on my coat and didn’t even have time to go outside when I was trapped. It got into the pipe, in the corner of the building next door, on the second floor. And everything was on fire. It’s not usable anymore. The dog’s kennel was damaged, the dog fell, he has an eye injury… The cat was killed, it was on the sofa,” the man told Suspilne Odessa.
In the updated report, four private houses, a two-story residential building, a furniture workshop, a garage and a car were damaged, while the man was injured and admitted to hospital.
One Russian drone hit an apartment building between the 18th and 19th floors without detonating, but it damaged the facade and windows along with nearby parked cars.
Fifty-eight people were evacuated from the building, including eight children, but there was no information about casualties, reported Kiper.
Odessa Regional State Administration say that information has been received about the death of a man born in 2019 as a result of the night attack by Russia on the region.
