An attack on Zaporizhzhia last night killed an 18-year-old boy and girl couple, while nine others were sent to hospital by medics, noting that a 15-year-old girl in a critical condition.
Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Ivan Fedorov reported that residents of the city in the Khortysia district were making their way home when the attack occurred, offering his condolences to the families of the deceased.
Russia had launched a drone at the city, damaging 4 multi-story buildings, shops, and cars, added Fedorov, noting that all the injured parties were receiving necessary medical assistance, including a 15-year-old girl, and two boys aged 12 and 11.
Another attack occurred in the evening with a drone, as Fedorov noted an attack alarm lasting more than 27 hours, noting that reports of damage had been received as a result of the attack, and emergency services had been despatched to the scene.
Kharkiv State Emergency Services reported that a man had been injured as a result of the strike, and paramedics provided assistance at the scene before the man was admitted to hospital.
The blast wave from the explosion caused damage to the facades of three entrances at a five-story residential building.
Fedorov noted in the morning report that as well as the attack on the Polohivsky district, Russia carried out 790 strikes in 32 populated areas.
Russian forces carried out 11 air strikes, used 466 drones of various types, launched 6 attacks with MLRS and another 307 artillery strikes.
